Miami has definitely controlled this game but they should be winning by so much more. Not usually good to let a team hang around.

That's what I was getting at with my mid game post. Mississippi State should always be able to put out an incredible defense. Just need an offense that can milk the clock. Remember the days of Dak and Fitz where you'd get to 3rd and 3 and it was automatic?
I'd like to know how many drives we had this season where we turned the ball over via punt that lasted less than 2:00. I bet we led the nation.

Yes but also remember we had no real downfield threat and we basically couldn’t come back if we were down two scores. It has to be a little of both. Miami won because they had real down field threats that helped their dominant run game.
