There's a grandmother in the hills west of Batesville who supposedly is the matriarch to dozens of D1 and NFL players. I wish I could remember the name and some of the players. Maybe someone else knows. It's a pretty neat story. I'm sure most played at South Panola. Pegues may have been one of the descendants.
