Mark McGwire, I'd say no. Big Mac has only gotten something like 27% of the vote, and you need 75% of the vote to get in.
I expect similar results for Bonds, Clemens, Palmeiro, Sosa, A-Rod and I guess maybe Manny.
In my opinion, the players should be judged on how they performed in their era. You wouldn't compare Honus Wagner to Babe Ruth. And you wouldn't compare Babe Ruth to A-Rod.
I think the sports writers- who are the people that vote on the Hall of Fame- are placing way too much emphasis on how much these drugs "enhance" performance. You still have to be able to have the reflexes and vision and skill to hit the ball, or in the case of a pitcher locate the ball.
