Any info? It does seem odd to straight flip to a school you haven't even visited. Why not just schedule a visit or even decomit and schedule several.

4 star WRs don't grow on trees, but unlike Calvin and Fitzpatrick, there's time to go find others. I like the two we've got (better than Allen) and hopefully we'll get at least one of the big-time prospects we're after. Probably need at least two more, perhaps even three if KJJ doesn't come back. I expect there'll be a few more WR offers as the season goes on. I still think we'll end up with a great WR class.

While KW has brought in some stars, he does deserve some criticism for under recruiting the position the last couple years. He allowed himself to get played by some prima donnas and wasted a lot of time recruiting guys that had no intention of coming here. Riley said himself that they had to reevaluate they way they recruited at WR.

If what I saw from a Cali recruiting guys twitter is true, then yeah, the staff cut him loose and rightfully so.

If Bookie is a friend/family member, I think it's fine if he likes Manuel Allen's tweet. It's probably just a way of wishing him well and supporting his friend/family member. I don't think it was taking a shot at the Huskers.
Was Allen the one in the video making the catch and then throwing the ball at the other teams player? I've never seen a picture of him, so I don't know what he looks like. Aside from that, getting too ramped up over recruiting is something I don't do. When the kids actually sign on LOI day, that's the day when I get interested.
Brown is by far the better prospect. I thought he was the best looking WR that day.

Brown is very fast and smooth. He's at minimum a mid level 4* guy. I'm not one to change my opinion just because Allen decommited or was cut loose. That's silly. I was just never blown away by the kid.
We are still tied for 15th in average stars. We also are in on a number of good prospects. I still think we finish with a team ranking around the 18-22 mark and probably 8-12 in average stars. If they are all character guys, then that makes it even better.

Brown is very underrated. Elite athlete, like Moore, but smooth route runner and physical. He was a classic under the radar KW find, like Speilman.
And as I've said a 100 times before, when you redshirt majority of each class the number of recruits you sign annually will be lower. When the number of signees is lower, you have to count all the signees in the rankings. If you count 20 of 25 players in the ratings there is more room for "error" than when you have to count 20 of 20.
Rumors swirling around the net claim he was (perhaps) the instigator of a major brawl at a camp in Cali, and that there could have been a fall-out with our coaches because of some character issues. Of course, this always comes out when we lose a recruit. Just putting this out there.
