I'm going to take a different approach from some MSU fans. I wish Renardo
Sidney well. He's not the incorrigible thug many have said he is. He's
obviously intelligent and capable of accepting responsibility, but he just
hasn't been able to put it all together. Stansbury took a gamble with him and
it didn't pan out. I hope he gets his act together and develops the maturity
and discipline to go with that incredible basketball talent he possesses. I
can't help but wonder how differently things might have turned out for him (and
MSU) had the adults in his life handled him differently when he was in grade
school and high school. I doubt if very many of our fans, such as DawginAlabama
above, have any idea about the kinds of struggles this kid has endured. To some
of us, it all seems obvious, but then again we've never walked a day in his
shoes. </p></div></div>
