Glad to see that Marcus Green is back on the field. I read where he caught a TD pass from Relf during the scrimmage. I never have seen him play but understand that he was a major weapon on his high school team. I'm anxious to see him this year. Also read where the coaching staff was giving KJ Wright a look at DE. If our staff feels that we are solid enough at LB without Wright, then that is huge for us. Having Wright and McPhee at DE woud give us a very legitimate pass rush combo. It's been many moons since we had that going for us.

PS: I ran into WR Leon Berry at the local oil change clinic around 6-8 weeks ago and spoke with him about the upcoming season, spring game, coaching staff, etc. Yes, I guess you could say I partied with him at the oil change clinic. Leon played high school ball here at Griffin High School (GA) and he is a "yes sir, no sir" type of kid. He is excited about the new staff, talked about Tyler Russell coming in and his role in the offense. Told him we were counting on him this year. He won't disappoint.

I sit by Marcus Green in a class this semester. I asked him the first day if he was healthy, and he said yes. Surely he is the type of TE that would fit the spread the best on our team, because he was recruited as a running back. I think the fact he hasn't played as much due to injuries, is the only reason we haven't heard his name more.

we can line him up at TE or RB or even FB. He is a great athlete, and I would definately try to find some ways to get him the ball.
