$22M roster and the refs call fouls against KY to make it a close game at the end of the game. Selling TV and social media buzzer beaters ruins the game. Instead of making me watch the game, it makes me turn the game off.

I don't hate it for KY, I hate it for college basketball. It's unwatchable.

Show me something that guy doesn’t whine about. Yall should see the post game videos after a UT/UK football game. It’s like a kid getting his toy taken away and is throwing a FIT about it. Quite funny.

Beginning in the 2022-23 season, the
NCAA implemented a strict penalty for "flopping" (faking being fouled) in men’s basketball, allowing officials to assess a Class B technical foul immediately and without a warning.

Best thing college basketball could do to make the last few minutes of games watchable rather than 2 minutes of basketball over 15 minutes of standing around. All defensive fouls by the trailing team in the last 2 minutes are intentional fouls unless they’re in the act of shooting. And teams lose all but 1 of their time outs at the 2 minute mark.

It’s called the “Auburn Flop”. You can search “The Auburn Flop” on YouTube and see the many great examples of it. Works for them everytime at home.

And stop with the protracted reviews at every stoppage of play.

I hate the "you can't make that call AT THAT TIME" argument. A foul is a foul.

As for that specific play: UK player extends his arms, AU player goes down, you gotta call something (IMO). That's either a push off or a flop. And don't get me started on refs swallowing their whistles and letting basketball games become rugby matches.

Agree, it's ruining the game for me.

watch 500 basketball games and every inbound pass and you will not see that called once
