Thanks coach stoops, staff, and players. If their is one thing this season has taught me as a fan, it is to be patient. They stayed the course and have built us into a solid football program. I'm happy for all of the BBN!

How about player appreciation

Ill give stoops credit for recruiting them. but save a lamar fumble and stoops conservativism at end of games costs us again. im happy as hell and agree this solidifies stoops position but he HAS to learn to stop being so conservative at the end.

This game and the overall improvement during the year (after an 0-2) pushed me off the fence Stoops' way.
I haven't been real critical but wasn't totally sold either. Great job by our coach.

Got to say Stoops and crew and players did a great job today, going into the ville and winning. I am eating crow..

He has earned some criticism in his first 4 years, and I have been a vocal critic, but this win is a game-changer. It's the first big "meaningful" win in his tenure and it was amazing to watch. Huge win by stoops and he gets a ton of credit for turning it around after an 0-2 start.

Well, I'm willing to publicly eat crow. I was one of the anti-Stoops crowd from the first day he was hired. Didn't believe in the man, didn't believe in his program, and I only got louder as the years went by.

I was wrong. The man made something out of nothing, in spite of a slew of injuries and the never-ending struggle to recruit a sound QB. I will have nothing negative to say about Stoops for at least a year, and I'll keep negative commentary inside a quota during the year after.

GO CATS!

Stoops has worked his @$$ off, sure he has made some miscues but man it sweet to get 7 on that W today.

Stoops did an F coaching job to start the season, and ended with a solid B+.

Going .500 in the SEC, beating a nationally ranked UL team on the road - rarefied air for a UK coach.

Helluva a job by this staff. U of L has much better, veteran players right now. That may be changing though.
All I have ever said that he should be given 5 years to turn it around! It takes that long in football! We lost a couple that we should have won. You have to give him credit for getting rid of Shannon Dawson and hiring Eddie Gran and Hinshaw!

Here...Here! Coach Stoops (or his OC) play calling is a bit questionable at times. When there are 7-8 defenders in the box why run the Wildcat (and we have 4-5 receivers in the pattern)? If you are trying to kill clock...run on 1st down. The players were great. You knew UL's defense was suspect after the last 4 games. We got some breaks...but I am tickled to death we did. However, when he called Wildcat when it was 2nd and 13...I almost lost my television...and we lost the ball. Thank the almighty for the UL fumble! Go Cats!

Yep. And defense was reminding me of Georgia game. But hey we pulled it out. I hope stoops has learned from this year and takes us to great heights next year. I'm pulling for him.

We are at or ahead of schedule given the mess he inherited. Next year will be the first year he plays with four classes made entirely of his recruits. The future looks bright and props to Stoops and the team for sticking with their plan despite the speedbumps.
