Just listened to the first few minutes of your show and I'm gonna be honest with you your wrong but in a slight way your right.
Your right when you say "something" needs to change. We aren't gonna play Dak over Tyler next yr, lets go ahead and get that out of the way. And another thing lets get out of the way.....We're not gonna get in the "I" either and and play "old man" Woody football either. Those aren't going to happen and I don't think they are the answer to our problems on offense. You want to see what IS the answer?

this is the air raid offense that we have at the high school I coach at. And in THIS offense not only could Tyler flourish and be a 4k yd passer but it fit/fits our personnel this yr and next yr. And please tell Todd you DON'T in fact have to have a "deep threat" to be successful either. This is what I keep 17ing saying, people ACT (Matt Wyatt) like this is what we ALREADY do and it's NOT what we do!
Also a similar concept to the air raid (father to the air raid offense) the run & shoot.

ignore the hilarity of endzone dances. Lol. But this concept is based off of a 2 by 2 set within the "ace" formation. It's a 2 step read & throw process. If you watch the qb's he makes the same "pivot step" every play. Theses plays are made in a base 3-4 defense (most of the time) with multiple looks of cover 2, 3 & even blitz packages from the boundary & the field side. And as a defense you can't get lost in the hope that the qb cutting off half of the field (as it looks like he consistently goes to his right) because he fools you with the same 2 step pivot and takes that third step to go back to the left for a stop, a comeback, a stick or a crosser. It nullifies the poor OL blocking because it's a HARD 2 step read. It's EXTREMELY hard to sack a qb's when he's making a 2 step read & drop NOBODY is that fast. Look at Troy they run the air raid and it's the hybrid of the run & shoot. We already are in the "ace" anyways in run plays it won't be hard to put this in our current offense since we are already in that formation. It does put more pressure on your WRs though because some of te routes are "read" routes for them. Here's another from the Godfather (sorry Stephen) of it all June Jones
