Good Show, question though...

I might have missed this during the show but how did Auburn's tailbacks look against Clemson? McCaleb killed us on the edges last year and I'm hoping we don't let it happen this time around. Now that Dyer is gone do they even have a North/South type back?

Auburn got in the I and also ran some Ace sets (one back with a TE and 2 WR's to the same side). They had alot of success vs Clemson running the zone stretch. In the stretch, the TB aims for the TE to get the handoff. He reads the block of the TE- if the DE is fighting outside, the TB cuts it up inside the TE's block. If the TE seals the DE, the RB will hit the outside.

Clemson's D was just not very good. That was alot of the reason Auburn had success running the ball. Auburn's back-up Center was able to reach the playside 1-tech. You have to be a really ****** 1-tech to get blocked by the Center if you are playside. Translated means- Auburn's NG was shaded to the right of the Center, Auburn ran to the right, and the Center still blocked him. Not only should the NG have not been blocked by the Center- but he should have blown the play up in the backfield for a 3-4 yard loss.

If our 1-tech gets reached by the Center playside- you can bet Coach Wilson will get a new 1-tech. Thats just ****** play.
