No, they don’t have many injuries on their two-deep
This is always a concern for us in November games. Our depth is very limited and the injuries to Starters at this point are a major negative impact to the Team (Powell, Needham, Ahanotu, etc.) . You are right about Maryland. Looking at the current Maryland 2 deep I don’t think they have any Starters from the beginning of the season that are on the current Injury list. Unreal

If we can run the ball, we win.

I think you're right.
Is pretty much this season's team MO. If we can run against a team, we have a really good chance to win. If they can stop us from running, we have little chance, although we might keep things close for a while.

I am waiting on both team's injury reports just prior to game time Saturday before making any serious prediction about our chances. We know our team is pretty banged up and we lack depth. But we don't know the true extent in terms of who might not play - and probably won't even know until mid-game.

Presumably, MD's also pretty banged up by now. But I have no clue about the quality and experience of their backups versus the quality and experience of ours.

Still, I'm pretty sure this game will wind up being 69-0.

They do have a few depth players out but compared to Rutgers they are injury free

Maryland out last week:
RB Ramon Brown- does not seem to be a major contributor
WR Manning- - does not seem to be a major contributor
LB Neeo Avery- no stats
DB TaMarcus Cooley-- does not seem to be a major contributor
DB Alex Moore- - does not seem to be a major contributor
RB Nolan Ray- - does not seem to be a major contributor
WR Ricardo Cooper- no stats
Their Punter was questionable for PSU but played

Let's take a look at the Ohio State and PSU (and Michigan) opponents
Ohio State:
Taulia 21/41 (51%) 196 yds 1 TD/2 INT; Team Rushing Yards 106 (Taulia 21 yds )
Gavin 10/25 (40%) 129 yds 1 TD/1INT; Team Rushing Yards 232 (Gavin 49 yds)
Mar Defense: Gave up 37 pts
Rut Defense: gave up 28 pts (offense gave up pick 6)

Penn State:
Taulia 29/39 (74%) 285 yds 2 TD/1 INT; Team Rushing -49 yds (Taulia -47 yds)
Gavin 10/16 (62.5%) 130 yds 0 TD/1 INT; Team Rushing 99 yds; (Gavin 31 yds)
Mar Defense: Gave up 51 pts
Rut Defense: Gave up 27 pts

Michigan:
Taulia 21/31 (67%) 247 yds 0 TD/2 INT; Team Rushing 15 yds(Taulia -43 yds)
Gavin 11/21 (52%) 180 yds 1 TD/1 INT; Team Rushing 77 ys (Gavin 28 yds)
Mar Defense: gave up 27 pts (offense gave Michigan 2 safeties)
Rut Defense: gave up 24 pts (Rut Offense gave up a pick 6)

Looking at all of that on paper Rutgers Defense may win this.
Rutgers give up 23 pts/B1G Game, with 79 pts against OSU, PSU and MU
Maryland Defense gives up 27 pts/game, 115 pts against OSU, PSU and MU

Our defense needs to contain their RB Hemby in the passing game- he has 550 receiving yards. If we can sack Taulia and keep him in negative yards, that's another plus.
Their wild card is their goal line battering ram QB, Billy Edwards.
I guess one strategy is to keep them away from the goal line

Mommy put you on timeout? Honestly, do you work or go to school or just sit around all day trying to make as many inane posts as is humanly possible?
You’re very sour today BOB

You really didn’t know I’m in Florida after stalking me for months, and you were having trouble quoting other posts.

Now your dementia-esque angry outbursts.

Get your act together

This will be an interesting game- To win

Rutgers has to be able to run the ball. Something seems off with KM, so hope he is 100%.
We have to be on the plus side of turnovers.
We have to get some pressure on the QB

I am not as worried about penalties this week as so many of ours have been pre snap(or snap itself) because of crowd noise.

What we also need- the 12th man has to be a part of this game. We all saw how Iowa/PSU 12th man stepped up. Our house gets just as loud when full- so, we need to bring it.

Why are you wasting energy replying to him? You're gratifying him by paying any attention to him. Remember the saying that children and dogs prefer negative attention to none at all.
Wait a sec

Why are you reasoning with that angry old man BOB?

What good has he contributed here?

His frequent use of profanity and stalking me is ok in your book?

Seriously, I know you neither work nor are furthering your education. Before you know it, you will be at 70,000 inane posts and can pop that bottle of Ripple.

Its a bad matchup because of the lack of a pass rush and the Maryland quarterback ability to complete passes for over 20 yards.Rutgers offense is based on ball possession which usually results in a holding penalty to end the drive.Rutgers will have to score at least 24 points to have any chance of winning.

Get a job BOB!

From your driveway, hang a left on Bramhall to Colonia Blvd.
another left onto 27 and Wawa is on your left
proud bruh, seriously- if you have some skills, I can get you a good job. Tech, management, even if just to get your foot in the door.
I have no issue if you and I don't see eye to eye here- I can help you out...I hire hundreds like you every year. Not much in the way of skills or brains but who can dedicate themselves to something...
Ask Mom if this may be a good idea.

Actually the injury status at Maryland is much better than ours. All of their starters from the beginning of the season still appear to be starting this Saturday. Hopefully we can heal up a few guys this week.

Can we stick or get back on topic? @brgRC90 we have an efficient passing game. It’s truly complimentary football for us to win.
