I don't know anyone who interpreted his comments to mean the inflation problem would be solved on the 1st day. Only that it would be worked on from day 1.
I have no idea if he failed to work on it on day one or not. Everyone I know including myself fails in some way every single day. Failing to work on something that I intended to does not mean I lied to anyone I told of my intentions.
No one voted for him for saying what he did about Day 1. People want it taken care of, and I don't see any signs that his supporters are in doubt that it will happen in a timely fashion. To the contrary, they are pleasantly surprised by how much he has gotten done to date just as I am sure you hate what he has done to date.

Of course no one believed he'd do it in one day but I was mocking him for saying it. At other times he said "quickly" and "fast" and then he immediately starts his term by implementing plans that will raise costs on food and drugs. I haven't heard of any plans that will "quickly" bring them down have you? His voters expected him to, just sayin...
You got that right, the majority of things he's doing are destructive to our country and to our relationship with our allies and do not reflect my values. He's also hiring the most unqualified cabinet in history because of their loyalty to him alone, which makes us all less safe, but especially if he sees you as the enemy within. An angry bull is in the china shop with no plan on how to pick up the pieces.

Trump is really upset now. There are two black quarterbacks starting in the Superbowl. He thinks that these are DEI cases. He is now writing legislation to reduce all NFL teams to have only ten black players and absolutely no black quarterbacks. Tough four years for minorities.
It's only mocking him if he meant he could do it in one day. It does not look like you're mocking him. It just always looks like you stay confused about what he says. It also appears you often take his off the cuff generalized comments that he makes and try to apply some kind of specific, literal meaning to them for no other reason than to say, "See! He's a liar!"
BREAKING: President Trump is in talks with El Salvador President, Nayib Bukele on the creation of the “Safe Third Country” agreement.
This agreement would allow the US to deport non-Salvadoran migrants to El Salvador, and also block them from requesting asylum in the U.S.
They need to start moving the smart reporters forward and moving the dumb ones like that guy towards the back.
Talk about a nasty woman, wow was she acerbic and rude in that press conference. Then after starting out by saying she would never lie to them, she repeated Trump's false claims that the administration had the military go in and save Southern Cali by turning the water back on LOL.
Reporters are rude as hell. She and they will be ok.
She was nasty before she started taking questions - smartassing about woke, DEI and other stupid crap that proved she is not there to be gracious or decent.
Sounds like it really bothers you, but it's not something i really care about all that much. The caveat being that i think that when reporters interact directly with the POTUS (either D or R) they should exercise some decorum and respect for the office.
I just found that line of questioning from that reporter stupid. The whole concept of illegal and criminal and the initial focus of the admin is really not that hard to understand. I'm not saying that everyone likes it or agrees but it's not rocket science.
I'm not even talking about that exchange, but the first 10-15 minutes were ugly. She had a hostile demeanor from the jump. JMO
I haven't watch from the beginning yet. However being a 27yr old woman she has to come out of the gate hard for fear of getting run over. It's a big job. Im sure she had to have been a bit nervous .. I assume she'll get feedback and adjust either way.

LEAVITT: All of them. They broke our laws. They are criminals, as far as this administration goes. I know the last one didn't see it that way, so it's a big "culture shift" to view law-breakers as criminal, but that's who they are.
A dumb liar is who she is - there are many stories of people who applied for asylum the legal way and are awaiting their hearings, including these stories about people not too far from my neck of the woods. Non-criminals
