I’m back and stand by post!! If you don’t think the media has an agenda, you’re blind.
You have nothing to stand by. You were factually wrong. Don't do this to yourself. When you do something like this, people either question your intelligence or pass you off as a nut job.

For once, I agree with you. Our country's approach to mental health is despicable.
100% correct. We do a ****** job of identifying people with issues and getting them the help they need before they harm themselves and/or others. I used to work with a guy was was Exhibit A. He retired about 3 years before me. Hugh was the epitome of "good ole country boy". He loved to hunt & fish and talked a lot like Junior Samples on Hee-Haw. Just a super nice guy to be around. He came to the retiree picnic a couple of years later, and was completely off the rails. The former slow talking, laid back guy was yammering endlessly about the Bible and end times, talking 90 MPH in a voice that had no resemblance to the guy we worked with for so many years. We were all like WTF? Some people laughed about it, some were concerned, but none of us tried to reach out to him.

Maybe 3 weeks after that, he's on the front page of the local paper for being arrested for aggravated stalking. It turns out he was arrested earlier in the year for stalking and ordered to undergo counseling. Fast forward a month or so later, Hugh gets into an argument with his neighbor. His neighbor calls the cops. The cops come and are walking up the walkway to his door when Hugh steps out and fires three or 4 rounds from his 12 gauge and retreats back inside and barricades himself in. Both cops are hit, one seriously.

An hour or so later in the standoff, Hugh sits down in the kitchen floor and kills himself with one of his handguns. One cop was treated and released, but the other one was in the hospital for over a month and had multiple surgeries, nearly losing a leg.

I think about Hugh sometimes and wonder if some of us had reached out to him that maybe we could have gotten him to seek help. At the very least, maybe a red flag law would have taken his guns away and prevented him from legally buying any more. Hugh might have eventually killed himself another way, but those cops wouldn't have gotten shot.

The dude who shot up the Waffle House in Nashville and killed 4 people was another guy who had more red flags than a Russian military parade. He had his guns taken away and given back to him later in spite of more red flags.

We need to get these people help, and in the meantime make sure they don't have access to guns.

This can't be accurate; there have been several mass shootings during Trump's administration. Like others have said, Las Vegas was one of the most deadly shootings ever. There are mass shootings because people are crazy; this is regardless of who is in office.
Very true. The ones we see in the news are because of some lone psycho or small group of psychos most of the time. But most shootings on the books classified as mass shootings are gang/drug violence where multiple people are involved in the situation. Drive by spray and prays. The media only cares about the ones in suburban or middle class America.

Sensationalism of the events being my point...not that they didn’t happen. Grow a penis. The media will back the liberal agenda to enact gun control, so guns will be demonized.

Undiagnosed mental illness is another pandemic in this country today.

Another child killer (19) too basically which is extremely disappointing. This period has had a turrible impact on all young people. That 4 of the dead are Asian Sikh makes it all the more tragic.
Why does their ethnicity or religion "make it all the more tragic" than any other human being?

Yeah, the nation actually might have to tackle illegal arms sales (black market/gangs/intelligence agencies who let arms get into the hands of the wrong people) because they took this kid’s gun. He still managed to get another.

Had a shotgun taken away from him by federal authorities, was subject to Indiana red flag laws, yet he was able to walk into a gun store (or some other store that sells guns) and buy two assault rifles. Someone should be having their license to legally sell guns stripped permanently and charged with accessory to murder.

The FBI runs the background check.

They’re too busy investigating garage pull rope “nooses” and the other endless leftist race hoaxes to be able to administer accurate background checks. Plus, if they enforced the laws on the books their friends wouldn’t have near as many excuses to create more gun laws.
Finally the truth. Every word of it. When my local gun dealer told me out of 30,000 weapons he has sold at his business over many years, not one FBI agent has followed up with him on a gun purchase for somebody lying on their application

Hunter Biden lied on his application and will never answer for it. The FBI is nothing more than a left wing tool now and picks and chooses who they want to nail.

Unfortunately for all of us the two tier justice system, one protecting the swamp and one nailing the rest of us is as strong as it has always been.

Cant make this up...

CBS News:

- FedEx shooter was visited by the FBI
- FBI flagged him (mentally unfit to own/purchase weapon)
- Kid buys 2 rifles 4 months later

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I got a lot of questions for the FBI. This appears to be one of the more easily preventable incidents.

The FL kid was another good example of our law enforcement at work. I believe that whacko had over two dozen visits with the police.

They were busy looking at Muh Russia. Think about how important that was and how 'not important' checking out batchit crazy people is... Or after checking on them doing absolutely nothing about it.
