as a tight end.

As a QB at USC he had a stellar career throwing for a grand total of 192 yds, 0 TDs, 1 INT.

This year at New England:

63.4%, 3700 yds, 21TDs, 11 INTs and 89.4 rating.....not bad.

Do you think he will end up with a better career than Palmer and Lienart? I'd say the chances are pretty high for that to happen.

At least Leinart. He may never start a game again, and rightly so.

Palmer has had good years in the past and has a chance to have them again in the future. The Bengals were doomed this year regardless

and who know if that will ever fully recover.

The thing about Cassel that amazes me is that his first start this year was the first time since high school. He hasn't had sustained game experience till this year (that's about 7 years of riding the bench). And he continues to get better.

Pioli and Belichick can sure pick'em.

The most incredible thing is that he just got the franchise tag from NE and that means that he'll earn over 14 million next year and he's always been a backup.

The real question is who will he start for the year after next? he's the next matt schaub but better

if I was the GM for the Chicago Bears, I would definately find a spot for him. Dump Grossman and put him in an offense with Hester and Forte. That might be enough to get them into the Super Bowl.

I was skeptical of him (and he gave me plenty of reason to be), but he's gotten better and he can actually play. QB is not the Bears' greatest area of need for a change.

He is the 2nd best LB on their team right now.

The defense just is average.

Matt Forte is really the only reason the Bears were average this year.

it wasn't even close.

Urlacher needs a great D-line in front of him so he can just run to the ball, this year guards and centers were getting to him and he was really a non factor.

He will be 31 before next season starts and he clearly has lost a step.

I still can't believe they gave him another raise before this season.

Some of them are laughing about the irony that could occur if Arizona goes after him and he takes over ahead of Leinhart.
