Seriously, the guy is dangerous. It has nothing to do with where he played football.

(he may or may not have known it was this bad), don't you have an obligation to report it. If his problems are this bad, he's dangerous. Just period.<div>
</div><div>I know it's hard to predict these things... but, that's why I never want anyone that has a serious criminal background. It's not just the bad look they bring to us, or the bad attitudes in practice... a lot of it is they could hurt someone.</div><div>
</div><div>If he knew the guy was doing steroids and thought those "issues" were serious enough to not be around the team, shouldn't they be serious enough to not be around campus?</div><div>
</div><div>He may or may not have reported it; I can't say. But it is easy to see if he was having problems that took him to this extreme, he's probably shown signs of it before.

Not much they can do anyway until he actually does something or she gets a restraining order against him.</p>

I'm talking more about letting his parents know or something. If it were me, I'd hope my parents would be concerned enough to bring me home and put me in some program at least.

<div>But yeah, I do agree with you on the cops being of little help, though I will NEVER agree with the ruling that someone can pose a legitimate threat to anyone and you can't do anything about it until that person actually does something.</div><div>
</div><div>Somebody in this case had an obligation to tell somebody SOMETHING. What if he'd killed someone?</div>

He's already been kicked off Arkansas's team and suspended from Mississippi's. I doubt that anybody that knows him is too surprised by this.</p>

Maybe not, but I'm not seeing your point in that it's a waste of time to make a few phone calls and see if someone won't do the right thing and intervene. Maybe you don't feel that stuff's that bad, but I'd have a problem knowing people knew he was using steroids and knew it was causing serious enough issues that you don't feel he belongs with the football team, yet he's allowed to be in the general public that knows nothing about it. To my knowledge Hugh Freeze didn't recruit the guy, so he may not be as familiar with his past. <div>
</div><div>Again, if he'd killed someone (and he could have), I think there'd be more than a few people up in arms over it.</div><div>
</div><div>If you bring someone on campus that you know has a behavior problem, you'd better make sure you are on top of that person making sure they stay in line. Because ultimately, it is your fault if you recruit that person and he does exactly what people warn you about. And if someone got hurt because you put them in a situation they shouldn't have been in, I'd hope you'd feel at least a little guilty about it.</div>

But you don't know what Freeze did or didn't do. And again, I'm pretty sure everyone who knew the guy knew how dangerous he is. People don't just up and do stuff like this out of the blue.

He was at a party, got drunk, got mad, kicked a guy that was passed out on the ground, drove off in his friends car, and wrecked it. The girl had some stitches put in her arm

I said I didn't know what he did or didn't do- I just said it SHOULD be done, and I stand by it. I'm not really putting the blame on him, but if he knew I do hope he called some people.<div>
</div><div>Kind of like Joe Paterno. He KNEW and did call some people, but he didn't intervene enough. It's not a good enough excuse to say that, "I'm pretty sure there were a lot of people that knew". That doesn't matter. He allowed the guy stay in a situation that could cause harm to other people without pressing it too hard. At its core, it's the same thing.
<div>
</div><div>If this happened at a party, I'm pretty sure everybody may not have known. I don't think that's a very safe assumption whatsoever. Yeah, they actually do stuff like this out of the blue if it's steroids.</div><div>
</div><div>Again, I'd hope if a coach knew a kid had destructive behavior, they'd keep an eye on them and alert people that need to know he has a problem. That is part of their job, whether you agree with it or not.</div> </div>
