I’m other words, a Democrat in 1961

no man, just a little more honesty and reason would be nice.

The first few democrat debates had a couple outlier candidates who got shot down simply for questioning how socialist Warren/Sanders policies would actually work in practice... not progressive enough, not forward thinking.

How about let's pull the curtain back and look in to exaggerated claims, how would things actually work in practice and what other inadvertent consequences are there... what truth is there to all these lies that people are too willing to believe?

We can start there, at the free lunch lie and just keep going... hell, might even get back to Mayberry that way indeed.

Would you ask republicans to individually do the same? And don't answer with "republicans don't believe in that in the first place." I want to see each republican and democrat candidate answer the same questions. Ask them on the record, "do you believe in white privilege? Do you think there is racial oppression in the US?"

Spoiler: 98% of them will all say the same thing or refuse to give a direct answer.
Why should Republicans have to answer to made up leftist BS that only validates their destructive positions? Isims and phobias are the livelihood of the democrat party these days. They use these claims to divide, inflame, and gain votes from weak minded snowflakes who love the victim mentality.

These leftist scumbag politicians have set race relations back 50 years or more just to secure a voting base. It's disgusting. The supply of racism in 2019 is greatly below the demand. Reference the numerous racism hoaxes, most (of course) not reported by the leftist MSM.

The party's only other agenda items are socialism, free **** giveaways, open borders, more free **** for illegals, lawlessness, and insane Green New Deal government wealth redistribution. It's so stupid it would be funny if they weren't seriously pushing it (including leading presidential candidates).

The Republicans have their share of globalists out to make a buck, but the democrat party is overwhelmingly anti-American. They are not fit to lead. Electing any democrat is a vote in support of the party's insanity.

If Matt Jones wants to represent the people of Kentucky, he should disassociate himself with that lunatic party. I wouldn't elect a democrat dog catcher. They'd probably give your dog a sex change and teach him to identify as a cat and claim to be a victim of some made up abuse.

The Democratic Party isn’t even a shell of its former self. It didn’t even morph into what it is today. It was apparently sodomized and reprogrammed to show indifference to unborn life, recognizing bathroom trannys, SJWs. and reverse discrimination at every turn.

Loons and whackos at every turn. Granted the Republicans have lost their identity somewhat, the Dems have completely **** themselves.

Said it before and I'll say it again.

Your 1960's typical hippie hated "the man" and now the new age millennial can't get enough of "the man".

Oh how times have changed.

Jones issued a statement today that he is in fact anti-human feces on the sidewalk. I’ll try to find a link
Which is why he walks on the grass. One more pile on the sidewalk might tip it over.

An homage to Hank Johnson (democrat politician) who said if we send more marines to Guam on the side they were on that it would tip over.

[roll]You idiots, you follow these type of leaders. Congrats.

Howard Stern ran for NY governor for the same reason. Publicity.
Matt Jones probably got the idea from Stern. Does a comedy act on a radii show think he can run against the most powerful man in congrss? Heck no it is a publicity stunt. He is not being endorsed by the DNC. Their money will go to the fly girl. Who is funding Jones? John Calipari? Maybe he is counting on profits from his book.

Awful thread.

:flush:
I can't argue with that. It is also a very comical thread. A joke of a radio personality pretending he is going to be a Progressive U.S. Senator from Kentucky. I don't think so. He might want to move to New York permanently to be with his girl friend and run for office up there. He could do KSR from a booth in Central Park.

Just saying. If there was someone that I had a strong dislike of as much as you apparently do I wouldn't be keeping up with their love life.

:joy: I'm definitely no Jones fan, but he sends the resident snowflakes to their fainting couches on the regular so I'm ok with his schtick.

Only population centers should be allowed to vote.

Rednecks who live in, lets say Burkesville for example, should have to prove they are worthy.

Some sort of Mixture of an IQ test and a Gladiator match should weed out the idiots

I say you make people worthy by default and let them ruin it for themselves.

The problem with your theory is city people are some of the dumbest, most ignorant humans on earth. If anyone should prove they are worthy it is the city slicker who couldn't field strip a deer or growing a row of collard greens. Some of them have never been snipe hunting. They depend on society to feed them from cradle to grave. A redneck will survive and has survived and is the last person that will ask the government for anything. What the world needs is more rednecks and less population centers.

[roll]Where do you get this stuff? Have you seen the numbers regarding the % of people in rural (e.g. "redneck") areas who rely on government benefits like food stamps, Medicaid etc. Something tells me a lot of them are capable of "field stripping a deer, hunting snipe and growing a row of collard greens." (Let me guess: you're proficient in all those things, am I right?)

Yup.

Mitch has been in office my entire life and hasn't done **** for Kentucky. We still suck at everything but basketball, smoking, being poor, being fat and dying of cancer.

How does a senator (at the national level) fix those problems?

I've been thinking about changing my registration to "democrat" just so I can vote in the primary. If so, I may vote for him since I believe Mitch can beat him easier than mcgrath.

So Jones is hyping a non-serious book of comedy about Mitch M. that he hasn't yet written (actually that his writer hasn't yet written) using a senate campaign that he hasn't yet entered to help stir interest.

He plans to get his material by eventually visiting each Kentucky county and gathering anecdotes. He has no plans to discuss his position on policy until after his book is published and he has successfully obtained grass roots support to enter the race. Am I missing anything?

Meanwhile, the election is only about 13 months away.

Does anybody know anything about his position on policy/issues, except that he's a UK fan boy, hates UofL, only superficially understands football, and loves to talk down to callers that he deems beneath his intelligence in his juvenile tone? He's not allowed by his iHeart bosses to discuss it. Does he have a political site for people to find this info?

What a lame, half assed, empty, incompetent, noncommittal proposition. It's not even worthy of a thread. It's a freaking joke. But so is Jones.

It is actually something like this.

If you wrongly think Trump as fascist, or can't see that Bernie Sanders is an actual communist by his own words, then you are either misinformed/ignorant or naive/deluded.
Trump isn't competent enough to be a fascist, and I don't care about Bernie.

Speaking of farming, the federal government spends over $20 billion a year subsidizing farming, and that's not even including the extra billions being shelled out now to help keep them afloat while Trump is carrying out his tariff war with the world.

It was more of a rhetorical question...

What is actually fascist is how the radical left thinks they should “reprogram” the way people think.

He doesn't know what a fascist is. Boston's world history knowledge is based on revisionist teachings from some fat white hipster starbucks drinking 56 yr old grad student who lives with his mom and hates himself
