Now called a NOI (Notice of Investigation). And this is only news if Wyatt somehow got confirmation that the NOI was received "last week." no other media outlet has gotten confirmation on the date that AU got the NOI. So I have doubts Wyatt pulled this off. Unless more than one institution got an NOI arising out of the same investigation -- say an institution that Wyatt has good inside contacts with. But, hey, that sounds a bit hysterical so never mind.

actually puts it out on the airwaves, and not hidden behind some internet screen name like those folks on TI, that Auburn got put on notice?

What I said is that no other media outlet has gotten confirmation that AU received a NOI. I'm curious how he got confirmation when the f'n NYT can't get it.

I suspect Wyatt is inferring that they got the NOI from the exchange between Lach and Chizik. He asked if they were through investigating and she told him "you'll know when we're finished." doesn't take a rocket surgeon to deduce that AU most likely got a NOI.

Even if the NCAAdid givea NOI to both us and Auburn last week, why in the world would they tell either one that they also gave a letter to the other? You are at least useful for one thing. I now know that it's a NOI and not a PLOI.</p>

said letter of inquiry maybe last week and may not necessarily be related to Newton stuff.

Also said HBO has another special coming with more former Tigers and ... wait for it ... an interview with 17'n Kenny Rogers

I'm guessing this isrelated to the shady stuff in South Florida that the NCAA is looking into. I believe it includes several other schools (maybe Tennessee?), but not any of the Florida schools.Somebody help me out with the details.
