I say this every time - he's really good at this.
When you struggle to run out of sight in under an hour, it helps to really understand the game if you want to be an SEC QB like Matt was.
I was happy to see the positives that Matt pointed out. He made me feel better about the many mistakes we made.
I continue to be shocked that Matt wasn't picked up a network carrying games on television. He would be incredible as a color guy on the SEC Network.
They seem to be more interested in guys with recognizable names than guys who are good at the job.
We're starting a couple of little bitty guys at WR, but they seemed willing to block vs Southern. A lot of times, just having proper technique and getting in the way gets a lot done.
Matt is knowledgeable, quiet, informative, and does his homework. They're looking for former players who are loud and just say whatever ridiculous comment comes to the top of their head at the moment.
We're really fortunate to have him and Neal. We've been really fortunate in general for a whole lotta years (more than my lifetime) with our voices of the Bulldogs. Some of the absolute best.
