Pinecrest RU kidding me. I know its early but come on man. Hillside should be in this conversation. It sounds like you get more credit for loosing to a good team than beating avg teams. No if that were the case Hillside would be ranked LOL! Who in the hell knows. The NCHSAA should be ashamed of this wacky poll having anything to do with tiebreakers for playoff seedings. Hopefully it is a mess come November!

That is a computerized poll. The more info, or game results, it has the more logical it should be. I am not to concerned right now with it.

As far as tiebreakers it is not the only item used and replaces drawing straws.

you know and I know PC has not done anything to warrant a number 6 ranking. Giving up 600 yds in 1 game! i'm sure the computer didn't factor that in. It better be a computerized poll because no human in their right mind would have PC above any of the schools listed at this stage of the season. i can't speak on Myers Park because but they are not one of your normal cast of characters either but they do have a win over a solid s. meck team with some stud players.

They can remove all doubt in a few weeks when they get the Creek. Its some really good teams this year in NC. I think it is going to be off the chain come playoff time. I wants the Scots to stay healthy.

I can tell your a parent. Been watching Vance since 2009. Always alot of talent and last year was predictable. You could tell something wasnt right. I watched the GW game start to nearly finish. I think demeanor on championship teams is as important as talent in many cases. Clearly alot of talent on this 2016 team but there was a very business like approach to the *** kicking they put in GW. Definitely from the players but more importantly from the coaching staff. I liked the way Brand ran the ball as if to say you know exactly what we are gonna do and you cant stop it.

I think Scotland would be a tough matchup but i really think Vance has a legit shot at their first title this year.

Thanx man, I could tell last year exactly every thing u just said. There is better leadership from the seniors this year compared to last. The coaching staff...coaches. talking to Brand he says this is the most fun he had coaching a group of guys in a long time. Kids transferred in really wants to win. There's a brotherhood on this team that I couldn't feel from last year's team. I don't know how far they will go but I'm so proud of how far they came.
