My prediction is that nothing at OM will be "buried" (whatever that means) by MSU's success. We'll play baseball again next yr, and might even beat ya'll in a couple of head-to-head match-ups. Our football team is on the rise, we're recruiting great in all sports, we're coming off winning the SEC basketball tourney and making the NCAA's for the 1st time in forever. Ya'll's success doesn't change the fact that its a good time for Rebels sports

TSUN did play for a championship this yr. Not a National Title, but I guess we can assume you didn't pull for us in the basketball tourney?

I agree. And I think that it is even more true for baseball than any other sport. If ole miss were to win a national title in baseball before msu with our tradition.. that would spark the biggest meltdown in msu history.

Thanks

I'll take you at your word, and thanks. If the roles were reversed, I'd probably support the Bears too, but I don't live in Mississippi and don't have the deep seated hatred for the Bears that many have developed. Now if it was the Crimson Tide, I know I'd pull against them ....

Good assumption. For me, I hated you even made the tourney. I was really sweating it out when you had the red carpet rolled out to the Elite 8/Final 4. But then you blew it... So all was good.

I imagine it was approximately the same amount of Mississippi State fans that pulled for Mississippi this year than Bear fans pulled for MSU in 1996, 2002, and 2009. For Mississippi fans, "basketball is not important, but this past March you would have thought James Naismith grew up in oxford.

The same OM fans that are saying they're pulling for us are the same ones that if we lose will be talking the most ****
