This just reminded me of something funny. I was at Rick's back in the day.
Guy comes up to the bar: "I'll have a bud light." (turns to his girlfriend) "What do you want?"
Girl: Rum and Coke
Guy: (Shakes his head and turns back to the bartender) "and a Rum and Diet"

I thought you were joking, but he really did ask for people to send him proof of smelly cups if they have it. I can't wait for Veazey to file a FOIA request for all correspondence related to smelly cups.
Scott, if you haven't been to the storage room and smelled the cups in the past 5 years...then you should rethink your position. That's ridiculous. Do you really think that this many true fans would lie about a very serious problem with the cups? They STINK! Hopefully the new ones will not.
Another serious concession problem? The drink delivery tubing is bad. Get your *** down out of the skyboxes and order a Sprite. Taste off? Taste like mold? Yes it does. There is a shelf life for delivery systems and our water/syrup/carbonation system needs serious overhaul. When someone with a serious allergy to mold/mildew has a reaction to a drink delivered at concessions, some lawyer is going to have his way with Aramark/MSU Athletic Dept. My first piece of evidence as an attorney would be 5 years of complaining on message boards about cup/drink odor.

What a smart ***. So two weeks in a row he sends out a controversial tweet? Grow up Scott. You're in charge of a major athletic program. I know you'll read this. Quit trying to bait the fanbase.
I've never detected the smell that everybody complains about. Even had a fan next to me say "he smell this". Nothing. I don't get it. But OK.

Yeah.... He was bringing a completely honest opinion to the topic. He hasn't smelled nasty cups. That's why he asked someone to send theirs in. So he could smell a nasty cup. So smartass probably isn't the best word to call him. Intrigued maybe, but smartass no.

I think he`s a nice guy who is just in way over his head for certain parts of his job. Probably make an excellent marketing exec for Belk.

that if I happen to get a smelly cup and try to present it to Strick for his sniffing, then it will also smell like Maker's Mark. Probably not a good idea to wonder into the boxes asking to see the AD with a whisky drink in hand.
If the cups he sniffed are new, they wont stink. I'm assuming they get their smell only after they've been in storage in the non-climate controlled closets under Davis Wade during the hot months of August-October; that seems like a good time for mold to grow in the cups and make them rotten.
