Alabama has dominated its series with Mississippi State, 76-17-3 *

* includes University of Alabama's forfeit of the 1993 match-up which Alabama won 36-25. On the field series margin is 77-16-3 in favor of Alabama.

[Of course the black bearz are rocking 9 big series wins against the Tahd. 9-48-2. Fooooo - tility.]

guess you're fall into the 20-40 year old age group, like most here. Having said that, in your adult life you have experienced no rivalry with LSU that meant anything. Get serious.

And then completely fail to mention the very next thing I said, which was "and our overall record against them is very similar to y'alls overall against us".

Sorry I didn't mention y'all won a third of your games against Bama recently, even though you've been nearly as terrible against them as we have historically.

Why do y'all care so much about how we feel about LSU anyway? And don't say "we don't care we just think its hilarious" because if that were true you would just laugh it off, instead you have to dig through stats and write page long diatribes.

You people are terrible.

Are you going to count the two years you cheated and had toforfeit as wins? Record books are all that matter.

You think if you ask a player on those losing teams if they consider it a win, they'd say yes?

But only them and people who actually remember those games care. People who wouldn't know otherwise would just browse the internet to check the stats and see that it's 17-25. That's all that matters to them.

LSU was irrelevant and Ole Miss Still is but Mississippi State has played LSU more times thenOle Miss has in football. I think Ole Miss and LSU was a rival back in the day but not anymore. Well maybe to Ole Miss fans.

Something else to ponder.
LSU has only beaten Alabama 7 more times then Miss State and Miss State has beaten Alabama 9 more times then Ole Miss.
LSU has only beaten Auburn 1 more times then Miss State has beaten Auburnbut Miss State has beaten Auburn 16 more times then Ole Miss.
LSUbeaten Florida 5 more times then Miss State but Miss State has beaten Florida 7 more times then Ole Miss.
Mississippi State has beaten Tenn 7 more times then LSU. This is one areaOle Misshas done better, they have beaten Tenn 4 more times then Miss State.
Ole Miss and LSU has done better against Georgia them Miss State but not by much.

you think Memphis fans think they were 0-32 in basketball a few years back? Think USC fans don't think they won a national title in 2004? What happened on the field is what mattered, period. You claim this because it's in your favor, period.

You listed teams that you have more wins against than us, but failed to mention that you had played those teams way more times than we have. Especially mentioning how you have more wins against Florida with a 19-33-2 record, but we actually lead the series with Florida with a 12-10-1 record. What a joke.

we are still considering it a win. 50 years from now, State fans will still consider it a win. The books show the score that we won. And hell, I'd say there's a better chance of the rule we broken no longer existing than people not knowing we actually won the game.

I bet if I go check the trophy the scores don't have an asterisk by them. Maybe in 2015, you'll get a chance to change the engraving.

Unless you are ready to allow USM to claim dominance in Mississippi college football because they have more wins in football over the last few years. While they have been beating Rice, MSU and UM have been losing to Alabama. A very telling historical fact is that MSU has played Alabama, Auburn, UF, LSU a bunch of times. Not many teams have been racking up the wins against those teams.

This is the very reason that I rejoice over the current scheduling policy at State. Get some wins. Go to bowls. Establish a few years of that, and you might be ready to step up the schedule a bit.

And besides, what is the comparative winning percentages of MSU/UM vs. Alabama, Auburn, and LSU? I don't know what it is. I just know that we've been playing these teams regularly for decades.

I see what you are trying to say. However, with your brilliant logic in the same post you shouldn't even be able to talk trash about it until you play them the same amount. Or are you one of those only brings **** up if it favors you, my bad, that has already been established. And yes, it is laughable for you to consider yourselves LSU's rival, what isn't laughable is that you 17tards twist everything until benefits you and expect everyone to drink the Kool-Aid. Holy ****, Yancy, is that you?

You can't just pick out a team that is good and call them a rival....Kinda like in high school when you would try to associate with the cool kids but they didn't even know you existed....same thing applies here...

Truth is your program IS (as in currently) a 17ing joke! In almost every aspect, u can blame Nutt, Yancy, your paw paw, your momma or whoever you want. That is a fact! Your fan base IS delusional for the most part which is why articles like Stuart Mandel wrote like your job's the WORST job in college football because.......(guess why) your FANS! Nobody wanted the job except a buck toothed girls high school basketball coach that FELL into EVERY job he got. Spin his **** all you want, but deep down you will get your *** raped this year! You are the laughing stock of the conference! It's sad when USM, Arky St & hell even UAB made better coaching hires than your ****** confederate team did. BTW, those are all facts! Stick that in your pipe and smoke it blackbear!

...doesn't mean you won on the field. 19-23 since 1970, 13-12 for the last 25 years, and 3-0 since Dan Mullen took over. You're increasingly irrelevant. You need to go back to being a Ladies Finishing School, a training ground for wives of Mississippi State graduates.

home field trying to secure a trip to Atlanta. Question for you, has Ole Miss been "relevant" for even one seasonsince integration? It is funny how Mullen has driven all of you Ole Miss fans batshit crazy since his arrival on campus. Mullen's domination on the field and his little verbal jabs seem to be to much for the Ole Miss ego to handle. It is only going to get worse for the rebel fanbase, 5 in a row seems likely. Ouch.

made. Well, other than the idea that the guy who the believe will bring them back to relevance didn't have a clock for the lsu game.
Fact is that I don't think anyone other than us message board folk really give this much thought. My main rival is whomever we aster playing I don't l like watching ole miss lose nearly as much as I like reading tools like waom's posts when they do.
Guess that makes the rivalry for me.

coached and you got your *** beat 4 of those times. We played Alabama every year, including in Alabama ten years in a row. The good ole days don't mean **** because of the power Vaught, Bryant, and that ***** at Auburn (I'm old, can't remember his name and too lazy to look it up) had. Theycontrolledeverything.
