I really hope I was wrong and that Beamer actually hired a legitimate OC!!! I would have no issues with eating crow.

How would that happen? Serious question, I'm not sniping at you. If he succeeds here, would that not entrench Beamer? If he fails here, why would he be the next HC?

I suppose there is a scenario where the offense looks good, but everything else blows. In which case, he may get the reins.

I would think he would want much success here, and then go HC somewhere else, but that would be a rare thing here.

I honestly have no idea why he's coming here. Happy about it for sure!!! But it's head scratching.

Would have to be a situation where the offense averaged 40 points a game and the team still went 4-8. Highly unlikely. You made a great point.
