Are you ******* kidding me? It’s March 7th.
OOC losses to Austin Peay (2), Georgia Southern, Air Force, & Central Arkansas kept MSU from hosting in 2024 despite going 17-13 in Conference. Are you ******* kidding me? It’s March 7th.
He is, in fact, no kidding you.... Don't fall under the spell of those that say college baseball is a "long season". It most certainly is not.Are you ******* kidding me? It’s March 7th.
FWIW I’ve been told it only matters how a team is playing in June & that discussing baseball at this point of the season is pointless. Right, @Dawgbite?
Again, it’s March 7th, conference play hasn’t started and Mississippi State baseball and LSU baseball aren’t the same things.OOC losses to Austin Peay (2), Georgia Southern, Air Force, & Central Arkansas kept MSU from hosting in 2024 despite going 17-13 in Conference.
LSU has now lost to Northeastern, McNeese, Troy, & Sacramento State. All of these except Troy will probably be below 200 RPI.
Maybe that’s their plan. This is the most Mississippi State thread ever - always obsessed with what someone else is doing. He is, in fact, no kidding you.... Don't fall under the spell of those that say college baseball is a "long season". It most certainly is not.
If your goal is to host, 3 losses to Quad 4 teams will be a resume killer unless you plan to do something like 20-10 or better in the SEC.
You may be right but not because LSU is a good team. Just perused their schedule, no Texas, no Arkansas. Just a bunch of teams that are currently struggling or teams they live rent free in the heads of (TAMU, Tenner). They will go on a streak here soon. They will be in the mix when it counts. If you think differently, you’re a dumb dumb
Very true. But for the first time in 40 years Mississippi State is taking baseball as seriously as LSU does.Mississippi State baseball and LSU baseball aren’t the same things.
I regret to bring this example up but look at The University of Mississippi’s 2022 season and draw your own conclusions.FWIW I’ve been told it only matters how a team is playing in June & that discussing baseball at this point of the season is pointless. Right, @Dawgbite?
The most Mississippi State outcome would be for a hot LSU team to be sent to our regional. He is, in fact, no kidding you.... Don't fall under the spell of those that say college baseball is a "long season". It most certainly is not.
