In a mediocre year in the SEC West, LSU beat only one opponent by more than a touchdown. You guessed it: 37-17.

In our 4 SEC wins - we beat all of them by double digits including 2 of the teams LSU only beat by less than a touchdown.

The two common opponents are explained by playing them on the road vs. away. With other common opponents they did better as well (but they're LSU).

LSU played down to its opponents. Hopefully the trend continues this year.

I think the LSU game has become a bigger mental than physical issue for our team.

Whats it matter?

It fairly obvious, after seeing what Slay and Banks are doing in the NFL, that our defense was WAY out of position last year and our talent was WAY under utilized.

Last year is over, it is what it is, it was what it was, and it has NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS YEAR!
