Not sure why games were moved to Thursday, but Max Preps was showing the games being played day before Halloween. I know in previous years there were CMS games moved to Thursday because of religious Holiday on Friday. So I’m not sure why they moved it up for this week.

I seen where AL Brown vs West Cabarrus was moved up a day ahead due to Halloween. JVs will play on Wednesday and Varsity on Thursday. It was a decision made by West Cabarrus while back.

Many North Carolina high schools have moved their week 11 football games up a day to Thursday.

Friday is Halloween. Given the scope of that Holiday, it can complicate some of the logistics with securing cops/security to manage the high school games. Some departments might not have the resources to lend to the local game.

There is also the issue of attendees wearing costumes, which could be a headache for school administration and security.

So to my understanding Myers Park n South Meck game will be played at Memorial Stadium for 2nd spot. Should be a good game.
