I like thes

"Miss State was allowed to have cowbells cuz they are a joke team. This isnt fair when they are good."

"If I were to be offered a single wish from a genie, I wouldn't ask for power, money or any other cliche. I would ask that all of the cowbells in MSU would be instaneously shoved up their fans stupid backwoods a's."

"State is using the money they didn't spend on cam to pay the refs"

"D it. I left work early to watch this abortion!"

Man, they are angry at us. the cowbell is just an easy target to blame. It's all fun and games until we embarrass them on national tv.

Funny, "Charlie should discipline himself."

I just want to ask all the aggie fans "so, is the sec still easy?"

I honestly don't get all the whining about cowbells. Maybe it sounded on tv like people were ringing them before the snap- but at the game people were putting the bells down and yelling. Honestly, there was no one in our section ringing their bell at the wrong time. Not a single person.

People are just bitching for the sake of bitching.

No, on tv you could clearly tell when the center went over the ball that the bells quieted down. It was amazing

On TV it was clear the fans were following the rules. There were a few times -- mostly in Auburn's redzone possessions -- where some bells were ringing when the center was over the ball, but it wasn't enough bells to make any difference at all.

I think its kind of Pavlovian. Just as we have become accustomed to hearing bells ring when things are going right for MSU, the other teams probably get tired of hearing the bells ring after bad plays for their team.

If there is anything to complain about, it is only that our fans start ringing their bells while the play is in progress. At the snap everything is fine, but once a ball carrier is close to being tackled, the bells start ringing again. I don't think it effects the game at all, but it is technically against the rules.

I rewatched the game on DVR. To me, it wasn't as noticeable than being at the game. It was like a switch went off.

Hilarious that some Auburn fans are complaining that Verne and Gary were biased against them and cheering for MSU, while MSU fans are complaining that Verne and Gary were pro-Auburn.

I hope Gus takes that ref's mom to a nice dinner at waffle house and never calls her back

Maybe it's because both fan bases think they are a couple idiots who should be put out to graze.

Nope. Supposed to wait until the whistle blows the play dead.

The amendment voted upon at the league's annual meetings in Destin, Florida will now allow "the use of institutionally-controlled, computerized sound systems (including music), institutionally-controlled artificial noisemakers, and traditional institutional noisemakers at any time, except from the time the offensive center is over the football until the play is whistled dead"
