Memphis offered Fuente new contract

Memphis Fuente was offered a new contract that supposedly will be the highest paid coach outside the power 5 conference. Supposedly, higher than the $3M being offered to Herman.

You certainly can't blame the Houston and Memphis ADs for not being proactive in attempting to hold on to their hot coaches/

RU better be prepared to pay up for a decent coach, as salaries are climbing quickly. I think RU should look at the Mack for a head coach with experience such as Campbell or perhaps for experienced and successful coordinators of top programs.

I read he was offered that contract back in October which tells you at the very least he's going to see what's out there first even if by some slim chance he doesn't take a P5 job.

Even losers like Al Golden are being discussed here about being given jobs. Must be nice...
