I think MSU has come out on the right side of the spread once in 9 games so far. Possibly twice, but either way, I agree that it makes zero sense.
Of course, I also said that being favored by 3.5 on the road against Ga Tech made zero sense, and that was the one game that they covered, so who knows

Didn’t see this before I posted lol. I was in Miami for the Orange Bowl feeling bad for all the State fans that missed mortgage payments on that one.
About 5-6 of us put several hundred dollars a piece on FSU that night and watched at BWW in Ridgeland. Just laughing at how smart we were for making the easiest money we’d ever make. I think we’d just lost by 50 or so to UNC.
We proceeded to lead that thing wire to wire and State covered easily. We were all like 25 years old and learned a tough lesson about Vegas that day.
