Never in doubt.Ok. Now, he is in trouble.
Nah, UNLV actually had a couple of takeaways and stopped a 4th & 23. Hutzler could never. How does Hutlzer have time to coach at MSU and UNLV?
They’re about on par with Akron. Is Idaho State a powerhouse ? I was expecting unlv to be pretty good.
I dont long for coaches that were looking for greener pastures every year until they finally found a new school where they eventually got fired.
Barry Odom let go by Missouri. First gig back at head coach was at unlv. 2 years and the results were amazing. Then he took the job at Purdue. Mullen will use the same gameplan. Its probably worth a quick reminder to everyone that UNLV went 11-3 last year, and would have been in the CFP had they beaten Boise State in the MWC title game. Their only losses were 2x to Boise State, and a 3-point OT loss to Syracuse.
I hope he does well there as well, but what are those reasons he is Las Vegas?
I'd not mind him coming back. Maybe by now he's over his need to coach at the most popular university in the country.
Another quick reminder , Unlv lost 10 starters off their 24 defense, , lost a 1,000 yard wr and lost a qb that ran for a 1,000 and passed for 2,000. This is nowhere close to the same team. Its probably worth a quick reminder to everyone that UNLV went 11-3 last year, and would have been in the CFP had they beaten Boise State in the MWC title game. Their only losses were 2x to Boise State, and a 3-point OT loss to Syracuse.
Them skating by a horrid FCS program in Week 1 is a pretty big regression from where they ended last season. But I guess it’s going to take at least a full decade if not longer for the Mullen obsession to subside for many folks.
And they lost that entire team and they have no NIL, as it fell apart and they couldn't pay players. Its probably worth a quick reminder to everyone that UNLV went 11-3 last year, and would have been in the CFP had they beaten Boise State in the MWC title game.
