Let me tell you a true story that illustrates their mindset. Right out of college I attended a postgame party that had some UM alums at it. One of them was an older fellow who happened to be president of their alumni association. He was going on and on very publicly about how unimpressive Johnny Cooks was. They were eating it up. Cooks was a first team All American that year. This is just one example that I have personally witnessed.
They will do or say anything no matter how outlandish or underhanded to keep MSU down. They think they are better than you. Anything that challenges that belief must be attacked and if possible destroyed.
I have nothing but disdain for the vast majority of their alumni and fans.
