What a stoppage time goal!

I knew they were going to blow it when they didn't clear the ball at the end of regulation. Iran had the chance to pull the upset of the decade.

Spoiler. Spoiler. Spoiler. Spoiler. Spoiler. Spoiler. Spoiler. Spoiler.

Sucks for Iran. They played one helluva game. Messi is something else. He only needed a foot's worth of space to make magic.

Well that certainly changes everything.

What makes it interesting now is that a win tomorrow could seal the deal to the round of 16. A tie tomorrow means we root for Portugal against Ghana. A loss and... well... things get interesting.

We really need to win tomorrow. Ghana will run Portugal ragged and probably win comfortably.

I'm terrified of a Suarez vs. England type situation tomorrow. CR7 may rip us to shreds, but I fear nobody else on Portugal's squad.

If you take Ronaldo off Portugal's team, they don't come close to qualifying for the World Cup. They almost didn't make it with him playing.

I have no clue what to expect. We may win by 2 goals, or Ronaldo may score 4 times and we lose. My gut tells me that it's a 2-2 draw.

But we REALLY need to go ahead and clinch a spot in the knockout round tomorrow. Germany will probably whip us. If we end up being tied with Ghana in the end, I think they will have the tiebreaker on goal differential or goals scored.
