Wooden teeth, tall for the age and he was vulnerable in New York.Anything else you can tell me about Washington? Strengths, vulnerabilities?
Liked to overindulge in drink as well from what I hearWooden teeth, tall for the age and he was vulnerable in New York.
How about Washington and not GeorgeI’ve seen very limited clips of Metamora. It looks like they have some athletes on the offensive side of the ball. Their quarterback, halfback, and what looks like their main receiver #2, all look like nice players. I’m thinking this is going to be a shootout. Like a 42-35 game. Whoever limits the turnovers probably wins this game. I like JCA in this one, but close.
Lol... I don’t know the first thing about them, other than the fact they are 9-0, that their closest contest was a 30-15 win against pre- mentioned Metamora, and that they have a very un-enviable first round draw against your Celtics! How about Washington and not George
Washington got screwed by the IHSA, having to play PC in the first round. The IHSA is against public schools-Lol... What does the forfeit have to do with anything?Would root for Charlie who should be on the helmets btw. After the forfeit to MC I’ll have to root for The Panthers who btw play a weak schedule
Private school guy here, but I think both privates lose this week. I grew up in Central Illinois and have followed both of these programs for years. They play very sound, disciplined, well coached football down there.
Shame Washington is up in 6A. They would have made a deep run in 5A which is where they belong IMO.
Just out of curiosity, why do you think they belong in 5A if their enrollment puts them in 6A?
Washington is the Naperville of metro Peoria.Objectively, they belong in 6A. No argument.
It's a mental thing with me - they've been 5A for so long. It's hard to see them up in 6A.
With enrollment at 1340, they are just 105 students above the 5A cut off. People are moving our of Peoria like crazy. They are moving to Washington, Dunlap, Morton, Pekin, Metamora.

Thanks for geography lesson, socioeconomic assessment and history lesson about George Washington but can we get back to the Washington-Provi game.Dunlap is. But I understand what you are saying.
But providence won’t drive to the Nasty city to play Mt Carmel. If they would of made that trip to the city, they can say their battle tested. Lol. Sorry, had to say that. It was funny. LolThanks for geography lesson, socioeconomic assessment and history lesson about George Washington but can we get back to the Washington-Provi game.
I just listened to sports radio show for Peoria Star Journal and they said Washington is going to throw a lot in this game (contrary to the 56 total pass attempts they had all year). They said the this is by far the toughest team Washington has played all year and that their players are not use to a dog fight of a game like this. They didn't pick a winner but just reiterated how tough of a game this will be. They referred to Providence as coming from the "nasty" Chicago Catholic League Blue playing 8A teams like Loyola and Bro Rice. They said Providence is definitely battle tested and that Washington better be ready for a dog fight.
Good one!But providence won’t drive to the Nasty city to play Mt Carmel. If they would of made that trip to the city, they can say their battle tested. Lol. Sorry, had to say that. It was funny. Lol
Go PC!!!! Let’s take out Washington and Metamora. Leave the Peoria suburbs grieving and the south suburbs of the city of Chicago. rejoicing. We will give them our neighborly love. Lol. Go Hill!!!!!Good one!
Amen! Go JCA! Too bad both games were not on Saturday and back to back, we could have enjoyed “lemonades” together on the Men’s Club bus!Go PC!!!! Let’s take out Washington and Metamora. Leave the Peoria grieving and the south suburbs rejoicing. We will give them our neighborly love. Lol
