run Myers system. I think it would be much easier to run Miles system although he may not be as cerebral a coach as Myer.

11-1. I actually picked Meyer too, but damn its almost a coin toss.

Like you OP4, I think Meyer might be a better game planner, but the results would say Miles is just as good. Miles' brass balls definitely rub off on his players. ..

Miles has to play AU every year: advantage Myer. Miles plays a fairly easy non-con sched; Myers gets FSU every single year (and MIA sometimes) year in a heated rivalry game: advantage Myer. Miles is a good CEO that hires good coordinators and lets them do their job; Myer is a good CEO who installed his own offense: advantage Myer.

I will always remember that post. A guy misspells about every other word in his post but puts Meyer(sp) questioning that he misspelled Meyer.

I agree OP4. Miles has lucked into one of the easiest gigs in college football. He's a good recruiter, and talent is winning games for him, not coaching.

Miles won at Oklahoma freaking State. Historically, that's been pretty damn hard to do. Last 20 years for Oklahoma State = 28-21 with Les Miles and 69-102-3 without him. Don't tell me Les Miles can't coach. And don't think for a second Bob Stoopes wasn't glad to see him leave.

Edited to add that Miles has the best winning percentage of any Oklahoma State coach since 1949.

As patdog said, show me a coach that wins that consistently with less-than superior talent. I doubt that coach exists. I heard (and somewhat believed it myself) for a couple of years that Miles was winning solely off of Saban's talent. Yet, somehow he keeps winning.

If I had to rank the Top 4 SEC coaches today...

1. Meyer
1a. Miles
2. Richt
3. Saban

Wait and judge Miles next year. He loses 4 out of 5 offensive linemen and possibly his entire starting Dline if Francois and Al Woods turn pro. Pretty sure that Saban's players will be completely gone by then, and he won't have a junior/senior laden team up front
