MHS versus Northside

Martinsville, #2 in the Timesland, headed to Roanoke to face the #1 team Northside in the Roy Stanley. Martinsville jumped out to an 18-6 lead after the 1st. NHS cut it to 5 at the half. The Dogs still led by 1 after 3, but the Vikings went on to win 60-52.

Mayberry, we actually got the lead back up to 6-7 in the 4th but one starter fouled out and another was hurt and with about 4:00 to go the Northside pressure took over and they also started getting to foul line and they don't miss many ft's. Couldn't get the ball to D the last few minutes because of to's and rushed shots. Overall a pretty good effort against a very good well coached team. Hope Aaron heals fast and Z gets back 100% quick. Safe travels home!!
