I tell you, it's real wake up call to see Tulane and Vandy in the CFP rankings. Historically speaking, even for STATE, those were guaranteed wins.

And BYU. You really have to tip the cap to them. They often play good football and don’t sell out to do it.

TAMU behind OM is wild. Both have top 10 road wins. But TAMU has a better strength of record and MUCH better SOS.

And with them losing the head coach. The FSU rule has apparently been scrapped.

I think the real problem is that Alabama and Oklahoma are so high and Vanderbilt is so low. I mean you're talking about 5 SEC teams in the playoff. The big thing for me is Alabama vs. Vanderbilt, rather than Vanderbilt vs. the others.

And people will say Vandy lost to Alabama. It's proven that head to head doesn't fly when you're comparing so many teams. Vandy lost on the road to a good team and an average team. Alabama lost on the road to a bad team.....and lost at home to a good team. Vandy should get this nod.
