Given that RU will be fully healthy and Miami has a few impact players sitting out, I'm a little surprised by these numbers. I would rate the game a coin flip and I love the Under. Thoughts?

Not sure if we fully healthy. Plus KM is still definite.

Definitely a game we can and should win.

I assume Miami has very little incentives to play this game up in the northeast freezing in late December, having had massive expectations for this year and aspirations ago to a new year six bowl.

Meanwhile, Greg 10 tends out all the stops for bowl games, and generally has the team well prepared for them.

If I were a betting Man , I would take one and a half all day and twice on Saturday

I don't think Miami is going to roll over. And when was the last time Rutgers beat Miami. I think never.

Incentive/wanting to be there, or not, plays a much bigger role in bowl games now than ever before. Look at how many of Miami's 2-deep have already decided to sit out. RU? Just Melton has declared. We have a team on a mission and Greg is VERY GOOD come bowl time. The 'teacher," IMHO, gives another lesson to the "student" on 12/28.

Their QB should be Jacurri Brown, sophomore threw 45 passes in 2022, 60% completion,
3 TD, 3 Int. Didn't play 2021 and 2023.

Our QB is a pro compared to their QB. We should have the best QB on the field.

I'm surprised by that too. I'd of thought we'd be favored but it's telling for the respect we have or don't have

we should beat Miami, zero doubt about that here

Lots of confidence on here for a team that has struggles to complete a pass on 3rd and 7 for a first down in 2 months
well if you read my posts all year, I'm far from a 'diamonds in the sky' person but here, Miami is depleted big time.

Jacurri didn’t play this year, so i guess those stats are from 2022, the last QB i would want to play against is him, a big fast athlete with zero regard for his body.

That’s he’s only career start. it was last year on the road vs GT.

Ga Tech 2022 Defense was one of the worst (12th) in the ACC. This time he'll be facing the #19 in the nation. #11 in Passing Defense.

I get he played well a year ago but lets not forget there's a strong D facing a guy who hasn't run a play from the LOS this year.

Lots of variables coming in. Hoping for a good game.

I’m not saying they were good, just saying that i would have rather play again Tyler Van Dyke or Emory Williams.

highly unlikely we have the better QB. GW has been outplayed by QB 1s, 2s and 3s this year. Has he been the better QB in any FBS this year ?

He’s made a couple of big plays important in wins, but never the better QB overall in any FBS game.

Like always, it’s defense and running game or bust.

This QB was so bad he didn’t play this year. He throws an interception 7% of the time he passes the ball (put another way he throws an interception every 14 passes). It will as easy as playing Cuse.

OMG, he didn’t play because he wanted to redshirt his sophomores year, all those interceptions were games he was throwing in, because TVD or Jake Garcia got injured and the team was trailing and a depleted Offensive Line. The kid was a freshman last year. Believe what you want to believe, but i’m telling I rather play against pro style QB than this freaking freak of an athlete behind one of the best Offensive Line in the Country. Beautiful day to all!!!

Rutgers might be the first-ever college football "team on a mission" to close out the regular season with four straight losses by an average margin of 20 points.
while true regarding end of season, Miami is not psu, osu, or even md. as I've said all year, comes down to if Gav can throw the ball or not

Thanks for providing your perspective as a Canes fan. I just watched those GT highlights. Great athlete. RU will have their hands full trying to contain him. Should be a great game.

We've got some fans here that think that our third string quarterback is better than the other two.
If coaches would only listen to their fans. 😛

Not true....define "better". the GW detractors like me recognize and accept he's the starter because he's a serviceable running QB as a second ground game option to the RB which fits the run clock, don't throw philosophy. Does that mean he's a better QB than the others on the depth chart ?

No, nor can it be said the others are better either.

Had the philosophy been different, and promises not been made, GW would not the be the starter. Being at or near dead last in QB passing ratings doesn't suggest he's better than anyone in D1, including QBs on his own team.

He is the coach's favorite though, so there's that.

Mission is get to a bowl and win. Maybe if we play in an easier conference, we can win a few more. Don’t see those 4 Ls as bad Ls.

No, that doesn't completely dismiss the fact he had a good game passing and running for sure. It just may be a different animal this time around.

That's why they play the game, right?

Miami under this QB, other than the GT game, 4 games averaged 10 points a game and lost 3 out of 5 games. I like those odds.

What was our QB's completion percentage after 45 passes?
Don’t know but Winsatt passed about 420 passes so far or ten times the number of passes for Brown. You need to throw the ball in games to get better. The last pass Brown threw was last year.

It's great getting the rational opinion of an opposing fan. So do you think Miami will win? I think Rutgers will win, but it won't be easy. We won't have our best db in the game but Rutgers will be mostly intact. To give Miami confidence that they will get an easy win is to watch the Maryland game. Rutgers got taken apart in that game.
