Honestly, this year it was a massive improvement in the way the team played, the old Miami style of football started showing, we started the season 4-0 including a 48-33 win against Texas A&M before their starting QB went down.
Miami’s offense was clicking and then the mystery of all mysteries happened after the bye week, It was a different team on offense against Georgia Tech, until that point Tyler had not throw a single interception, He threw 4 that game and even like that they found a way to get back and have a lead with 33 seconds left and all Miami had to do was to kneel down, but Mario for some reason went for an extra play and disaster happened.
Then we lost a game against # 12 UNC 41-31 on the road after Tyler threw another 3 interceptions.
We beat Clemson 28-20 and Virginia 29-26 in back to back overtime games.
lost to Nc ST 20-6 after leading almost the entire after another 3 interceptions game by our QB.
Then we played at that time the # 4 team in the nation FSU with our freshman QB and that game showed how much stronger Miami was in the trenches, we had the ball with 3 minutes left down 27-20 and driving then our rookie went down with an arm injury, Tyler came into the game on first down and 10 at the 30 yard line and after a couple of missed reads on completely open targets he threw an interception and the game was lost.
Then we lost to #9 Louisville 38-31 and the last game was a win against Boston College on the road 45-20.
The culture of the team has changed

Cane your annual recruiting is impressive/outstanding when compared to highly sought after talent (Rival 5-star and Rival 4-star talent) which have matriculated to Miami over the years.
As your roster illustrates, you can field a team a team composed of mostly Rival 5/4 Star players.
Pitt has never been able to achieve on paper such impressive recruiting as Miami has achieved through the years (Pitt mostly gets Rival 3-star recruits).
However, what I don't understand is why Miami has not been able to turn such impressive Rival talent into NFL drafted players.
If you compare Pitt and Miami with recently drafted NFL players, the numbers are surprising.
Miami players drafted into the NFL (4/2021, 1/2022, 3/2023) totaled 8 players
Pitt players drafted into the NFL (6/2021, 2/2022, 6/2023) totaled 14 players (15 if Pitt could have added WR Jordan Addison who won the Balitnikof trophy at Pitt before transferring to USC).
Our 3-9 record has our current recruiting at 21 players and a team ranking of 31.
Good luck to you and Rutgers in the Bowl Game which I will be watching since Pitt is home for the Bowl season.
My prediction is the game will be close but the Canes will pull out the victory.

Man, I was so upset about this stupid realignment, Pitt was one my favorite teams to play every year home or away, loved going to Heinz Field, my first time there was 2017 after Thanksgiving Miami was ranked 2 and Pitt beat us, I think was Kenny Pickett first year or first game, but to your response the culture on this team has changed immensely this year, the arrogance of just because we’re Miami we’re going to win it’s no longer there, expecting big things to come next year and can’t wait till 25 to travel to pittsburgh again!!
Miami has the potential to become a dominant team in the ACC with the right coaching and player development (just like they were when they dominated the old BIG EAST Conference).
Hope Narduzzi can get a good OC/QB coach and help Pitt return to a Bowl Game next year. Pitt went through 3 QB's this year hoping to find one for next year. Both returning QB will be red shirt Juniors so hope one develops into a starter (Hard to win without a good QB).
We have had good player development with our WR.
I heard that Tiquan Underwood Pitt WR coach and former Rutgers WR (NFL Draft pick in 2009/played 5 years in the NFL) was being interviewed by new Syracuse Coach Fran Brown for their WR Coaching Position but heard he will remain with Narduzzi.
Narduzzi getting the right OC/QB coach is paramount for Pitt's improvement.
Appreciate your comments about playing at Heinz Field and Pittsburgh in general.

Pitt was a great road trip. The last time I was there in 2006, I met Carlton Williamson at the Hilton Hotel Bar, a former 49ers Super Bowl Safety. I asked him about coverage techniques, and he was so cool, patiently answering my questions. One of my top road trip highlights.
Stylewise, Miami and Rutgers are similar as they are both very physical. But Miami has a lot more talent, especially at the WR and TE positions. The 3rd string QB maybe the best QB in the program, he wanted to redshirt for his sophomore yea, because in 2022 he played a lot as freshman and started one game. He’s a freak of an athlete 6”5 230 lbs with 4.3 speed
