Seriously, this isn't funny anymore...I've emailed twice and and sent a PM...and I'm still not activated...what gives? Mar 17, 2011 09:00:50 is when my PayPal receipt is time stamped. I realize that you are busy with the conversion to Rivals, but a week and still no access, even after multiple attempts at contact?

and a thread like this and then a thread started on his own site... but he finally got to me.

However, recently he did warn everyone it would be a while to get everyone going since he has to convert everyone on his site as well as activate all the new memberships... definetly not defending him just letting you know.

From what I know now, this is his M.O... hopefully I dont ever need anything again since I got a lifetime...

No one is posting on BDJ boards. BDJ has asked all members to sign up on the Rivals free board and send Michael your Rival's username. He said it would be a few weeks before anyone would have premium access to Rivals.

It's unfortunate, but getting Wardlaw to do anything is like getting a vegan to down a T-bone. I like Michael, but if I dealt with my clients at work that way, I'd have been on the street a long time ago. He needs some Mary Jane administrative help.

that their email has been taken over by spam. They were receiving close to 2000 emails a day with 90 % of them being spam. He told me that it had been resolved. I don't understand why he has not posted this here. He seems very satisfied to have his name and business dragged through the mud. I got a feeling he is going to learn this one the hard way.

He has a very limited number of potential customers. Take all bulldog fans, subtract out those who don't read message boards, take out those that will never pay for his services, take out most fans other than hardcore fans, once you have done that you are left with very few potential customers.

He seems to be of the opinion, "hey, I'm busy," and his paying customers should just pay their money, sit back and he will provide you the service, that you have already paid for, whenever the hell he feels like it and gets around to it. Anyone know what he majored in? I hope it was not Business.

Let's be honest, if this was not a State guy that people thought highly of, if you paid, sent numerous emails, and still have not had your account activated and received no response, you would go crazy. I am talking Better Business Bureau type stuff.

The very least, the very least, he could do was not accept the payment from PayPal until he was activating your account. I know for a fact that is an option because I had a company do it with me about a month ago. They did not have my product in stock and did not take the money from PayPal until the product was in.

Things have been this way from the beginning of that board. Long periods of time to get approved and my friends being paid with checks that bounced at the bank. He's still a POS.

I like the other guys who write over there but he's the main reason I will never subscribe to anything he has his hands involved in.

I signed up for a year when the junction first started and though it was a cool place and all, but didn't see it worth 100 per year. So I asked to not have my subscription renewed. Then I emailed again. And I emailed again. Once again and still nothing.
I was then charged for another year.
I then emailed him yet again and started a thread on the board asking him to friggin answer.
He finally responded and said it would be taken care of...but no shock to find out it wasn't. At that point I just didn't give a **** anymore and read the articles off and on.
I got out because the credit card on file had expired and when the attempt to auto charge it happened, it didn't work.

I haven't met the guy, he seems nice enough and all, but he is a dbag when it comes to business.

I get better information from SPS and a few friends close to the program all for free... Sounds like he has a real problem on his hands and his membership will fall unless he addresses these problems..

I have held back on posting anything on this subject but with all the others that have had similar problems, it leads me to believe that we have an epidemic here.

When I joined BDJ it was for a lifetime membership. Each month after, I would be charged with a monthly fee that I would have to ask over and over about. After a couple pretty nasty emails it seemed finally be worked out.

I originally just figured he was overwhelmed and let it slide. But after all the other similar stories I have to believe that this guy is clueless. I am embarrassed that he represents my university.

BTW I still do not have full access to BB. Will I ever?

to be honest, I think it was a load of **** that he told me and have little respect for him after the dealings I had with him. I have tried to prevent saying exactly what I think about him on hear because he is a State guy but he has zero respect for his customers so why should anyone here, give him the benefit of the doubt anymore?

time someone asked it was always, "well worth the price", "best info out there" etc. I've been debating whether to sign up or not for awhile, guess what? Not!

free trial membership when the site first got started. Close to the end of the trial membership I gotthe followingemail from Michael:
" Dear captaindawg,

Your access to the paid subscription "Premium Subscription" is about to
renew.

You have selected a recurring subscription and will be automatically
billed for the renewal.

All the best,
Bulldawg Junction Forums"

In return I sent:
"I did not select a recurring subscription. Please do not automatically
renew or bill me. I have not decided if I want to renew and this email
confirms that I am not authorizing any billing. I understand that this
may constitute a break in service.

Thank you,"

And in return received the following:

"I trust all is well with you.

You will not be billed in any way. This is simply a reminder that hte free trial is coming to an end.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

GO DAWGS,

Michael Wardlaw"

Needless to say that was the end for me. I even kept the email in the event he ever tried to bill me. I have not and will not go back to his site.

you sign up for their free trial - if you don't call and cancel - they will keep charging you. Just like anything with a free trial - you have to call and cancel.

they do a really good job and joining Rivals will only help with the recruiting.

Apparently, people are just having problems on the business end. I think once the merger is complete, everything will be worked out...I hope.

it's the same 'ol, same 'ol huh? This is nothing new. The problems listed in this thread have been going on from the beginning. I'm a lifer over there and I've been there since it started. Luckily, I haven't had much need to contact Wardlaw for anything. Not responding to emails/PMs, not following through on promises made, etc. seems to have become the rule rather than the exception. Seems to me the guy just needs to man up, admit he 17ed up numerous times, then vow to fix the customer service issues and follow through with it. No more excuses, just fix it and take care of your customers.

The "well worth the price" and "best info out there" is still accurate for those who haven't had a problem with their account either not being activated or deactivated.

They have good connections, good writers, great guest columnists, etc. The big issue people seem to have is with the business side. Hopefully things work out for everyone.

Just checked mine, Mar 14, so you've got at least one person in line in front of you. I really don't understand what takes that long to activate an account. Especially if I've given him $200 to do so.

I dont see anything in this that is inappropriate in the least. And this is coming from me, who got F'd by him.
Seriously, what is so terrible about what he wrote? It was going to automatically charge you(as every company in the world does), you told him no, and he complied.

Oh the horror.

Every MSU article written by Logan, Paul, or Michael is a free article on Rivals until the merger is complete. All the main boards on Rivals are free until the merger is complete. I would sign up at Rivals for free, fill out the form if you haven't done so that I linked above to let Michael know of your Rivals username and once the merger is complete - if you still have problems, let Michael know.

The added benefit will be
once we are all premium members - we all can use the Rivals network to
read other articles from other sites within Rivals which BDJ was not
able to use previously.

I'm willing to bet that none of them are programmers and the merger part of this is really tripping them up. Once the wrinkles get ironed out, I'm sure its gonna be great.

I've never had an issuedealingwith Micheal. It may take a couple days to get a reply, but the problem was resolved.

They should have NOT have talked about the merger as much and just made it magically happen one day. The hype and anticipation is whats really making the trolls crawl out of their caves.

I know you probably don't have any better idea of this than me, but should I go ahead and fill out the conversion form even though my lifetime membership hasn't activate yet? I emailed Wardlaw asking this, but have yet to hear back.

negative issues with anyone over at BDJ. As a matter of fact, I emailed him last night letting him know that my new Rivals name is now BigMotherTucker and to make sure I was on the conversion list and got a prompt response this morning.

is to start telling everyone to register at BB and to start posting on the boards at BB when many (most?) people from BDJ still can't post on all the boards at BB.

And then on the 22nd of March Logan posts this:

BulldogBlitz and BulldawgJunction have not merged yet. As Michael and I have stated many times we are merging and are in the process of doing so. It's not something that is going to happen overnight and may take up to several more weeks.

But if you still have some contact Michael or myself and not Rivals. Since the partnership between Michael and myself is a handshake right now the folks at Rivals will not be able to help you until we get a contract signed.

What? It's not a done deal? It could take weeks?

I think most agree that the "product" is good. But the customer service can be crap if you're looking for much interaction. Emails do not get replied to on time if ever. And it takes multiple emails for a reply.

Then let Michael know if you Rivals username via the form and wait for the merger.

was to get a list of the people they need to add to the Rivals site as premium members. It's not going to be an automatic process. I think it's a great idea to get everything ready to go so once they say go - the transition will be painless is possible. Once the merger is complete and they are waiting on Rival/Yahoo's approval from what I understand, then they will begin to give premium access to those that are supposed to get it.

For now - everything on the MSU rivals site is free except national articles which we couldn't read on the old BDJ anyway.

The premium board will be unavailable to most members (unless you already pay for the rivals premium boards, I think) until the conversion process is completed. You want The Locker Room, which is the free board.

The Locker Room @ BulldogBlitz = The Locker Room @ BDJ (even though it says free board)

and also, this isn't specifically directed at you, but the board in general... Patience is a (lost) virtue.
