Sparty D has holes this year. I think Nebraska can score on them. Michigan State offense has been mediocre at times this year also.
How about Nebraska's Defense? Speaking of holes...Cook will slice that up like swiss cheese imo! Good luck to you guys...Maybe luck could finally come your way this season!

That is exactly what Vegas wants you too see, remember mich St 24-21 over Purdue at home. Purdue 3 turnovers in 1st half, Mich St no to's, Purdue 165 yds rushing, bet your mortgage boys would love to see people lose their ***!

Whenever the home fans see a spread and think it's easy money on the opponent..... STEER CLEAR, or take the home team. Vegas knows what they are doing and this could be a sneaky Husker win with their backs against the wall.

I just don't see it. No DPE, still have #23 in the secondary, anemic running game and TA possibly not at full health.

That line says Vegas thinks Nebraska took Purdue lightly and will come to play against Michigan State. And that is something that I have absolutely hated about our football team in recent years. How can a team with a losing record take anyone lightly? That is just plain stupid. But rest assured, Husker fans, this team will give a "Wisconsin and Minnesota" effort this week and play much better than last week. I think that most of the players will play hard and that will make a big difference.

You did watch the Purdue game, no?
Don't get me wrong I see us losing this game by 2 tds at min, BUT......MR has a history of his teams playing up to their opponents. As we know that also works in reverse (playing down to his opponents)

Should be a great game. MSU is due to cover the spread sometime this year. Just not on Saturday.

MSU's weakness is pass defense. Anemic running game might not be as big an issue for play on the field as it is a philosophical issue in fan's hearts.

If NU's WR's don't get a case of the dropsies, and TA can make some plays with his feet when things break down, it could be a dangerous game.

Mich St has played poorly or just well enough for large portions of the season. They've played down to most of the weak teams they've played. I could see this 21-17 going into fourth quarter. But Dantonio is much better coach. We'll see.

Michigan State does seem to play down to teams this year?

I've got a sneaking suspicion that we win too. At least down to the last possession and the old lady will be rocking once again. Time will tell, but I could see Michigan State looking past the corn and Nebraska putting forth a great effort, maybe a little magic (trick play or two) and crazy things happen. Hell, Purdue just knocked off Nebraska!

Wouldn't touch that line. Contrary to many opinions, Nebraska has the horses to compete with MSU. The Huskers need to execute and get a couple breaks.

MSU is 1-6 vs. the spread when favored this season. TA throws a good deep ball and that is our weakness. I expect MSU to win a close game because Dantonio teams usually don't lose these type of games. I think MSU is 35-1 (2011 loss to ND) when ranked playing unranked opponents under Dantonio.

And what's Nebraska ats? 2-7?

Take into acct how beat down Nebraska is mentally after getting destroyed by Purdue, QB is questionable, our running game is a joke, O-line can't block, pass defense sucks, etc. etc. etc.
