Northumberland has interal problems right now. Kids injured, weak o-line, team mates fighting on the side line with each other, and no real playmaking qb. Can't get much ocomplished with those problems. Could be a long season for Coach cutler and the indians.

Watching the game film of Northumberland and seeing them live last night I feel they have some top notch playmakers. That being said they start with the ball on the ground almost every play which leads to multiple turnovers. They start at their own 1 yard line and drive the lengthy of the field last night in a long methodical 8+ minute drive only to fumble around the Charger 20. The Indians have had a rough couple of weeks but if they sure up the middle of their defense and hold onto the ball they will be competitive moving forward.

Yes I am also baffled by the struggles of Northumberland. They have some good talent and numbers and should be performing better. I do not want to take away from the efforts of their opponents, so well done to them, but these recent games should be victories. As Davis54 mentioned, must be some internal issues going on.

50% of having a winning outcome is the players having the proper mentality and attitude.....Neck season coming up, no time to waste.

Northumberland is doing what I knew they would do....they just started it 2 games earlier. With K&Q and the 5 NND games remaining, I only see them winning 1 or maybe 2 more games.

There is absolutely no way the team I saw last night put up 38 points at Surry and 60 something against Northampton. Something happened or is happening. They had no less than 25 fumbles, although they recovered most of them. The kid who played QB last night is very fast. He would run for 25 yds and the ball would be left 15 yds behind him. Or he would run backwards for 10 yds after running forward for 20. Some of the most bizarre stuff I have ever seen. And it wasn't just the QB, it was all the ball carriers. It makes me wonder if those kids are into something they shouldn't be. Just hard to explain unless you witness it. It appeared like the entire backfield had never practiced or played a down of football in their life. Maybe the whole backfield got suspended or something? IDK

I was gonna ask about the QB play. Lancasters QB moved to Notthumberland in mid August and is now playing for NHS. not sure what position. Last name Ball. He's a great athlete. Just wondering how he has fit into that operation. Hope they can turn around the internal stuff and the locker room stuff. That will KILL a team

Ball has been a huge playmaker for Northumberland. He is number 2 and is mainly playing running back. If they are going to throw the ball deep the will put him at QB only for that purpose. He is a solid runner who is shifty but tends to run more east and west before trying to get north and south. He also throws the ball with a nice tight spiral deep very deep.
