The vast majority of people do not use diesel fuel.
The majority of people buy goods that were either harvested by vehicles that use diesel or transported to the stores you shop. Don't tell me the cost of diesel won't affect you too.

You guys are hilarious. No one thinks democrats can do anything related to the economy as good as Trump. He had gas down near 2 dollars a gallon and democrats could never get that done.

Trump is not perfect but even with the Iran related pain his plan is much better than the dumocrats. They have no plan other than to immediately try and impeach him and resist for two years.

What a short memory you have. Historically it's not even close, the economy always performs better under Democrats. The pain Americans are feeling now is directly attributed to the actions of ONE stupid a.sshole.

Greatest president in modern history. Nuff said.
Dumbest and most corrupt does not equate to great.

1789650045362.png

"People keep saying Trump term II is the most corrupt administration ever, so I built a model to find out if it was true.

I took the UN's definition of corruption, turned it into eight criteria and 100 points, and scored the leaders history remembers for looting their countries: Marcos, Suharto, Mobutu, Abacha, Obiang, Putin.

Then I put every president since Eisenhower on the same scale, both parties, with every exoneration counted right alongside the convictions.

Nixon scored 41 and no other American President scored over a 25.

Trump's second term scored a 91, which ties him with Suharto and Mobutu and puts him above Marcos and Abacha.

So he is not only the most corrupt president in American history. At this pace he finishes his term level with the most corrupt rulers of the last hundred years.

PSA: don't come in my comments arguing about the results if you haven't read the full article, because ignorance is a choice."

Do you think cherry-picking one pandemic-era year makes your case? Surely you jest. 😂

A 9.1% inflationary peak that cost the average US consumer a perpetual 25% in their ongoing purchasing power forever?,... Yes.

I'm sorry we couldn't stop a once in a century pandemic that YOUR president exacerbated, so let's not hand wave away his responsibility as well. Biden's spending should have been more targeted but it also saved many lives that your president didn't care about as he spent his last two months jawboning about an election he lost. FACT

The 9.1% is all on Biden,... Had he controlled his drunken sailor spending spree even a bit, post pandemic inflation in the US could have been limited to a peak of 4-5%...

And you know that how? Very selective of you to think that money spent only matters when it comes from a Dem, but no surprise either.

"President Donald Trump signed a total of approximately $3.1 trillion in COVID-19 relief legislation into law, while President Joe Biden signed a total of approximately $1.9 trillion."

Stimulus comparison

You are correct to concentrate on money spent,... Trump left office with slightly more than a trillion dollars in approved covid dollars as yet unspent,... Joe spent that plus his self legislated 1.9,... Biden's handlers spent like drunken sailors.

What is your excuse for the amount Trump has spent in his second term? Biden's fault?

Trump also spends too much,.. But yes, some of it is cleaning up messes that Biden left,.. The border as an example.

He didn't need to spend 150B to address undocumented immigrants, he chose to. And let's not forget the 2 trillion added to the debt from the 2017 tax cuts and the 4 trillion that will be added by extending them. But Biden...

Oh he most assuredly did need to address Joe's border fiasco....
Joe is not responsible for ALL 20 million undocumented immigrants but Donald has said he will deport every one of them. That's a discretionary choice that we can't afford but that's the reason for the disgusting amount he's willing to blow to prevent imaginary brown votes for democrats. It's more than the military budgets of almost every country in the world and it's absurd and unnecessary.

Correction that it will cost closer to 300B

The Trump administration has spent at least $40 million on specific third-country deportation deals, with broader mass-deportation initiatives projected to cost taxpayers roughly $268.9 billion over the course of his term, alongside billions more drawn from military resources. Because there are about 170 sovereign nations globally with total annual military budgets under $2 billion—and dozens more with budgets under $40 million—a vast number of countries possess smaller total military expenditures than these immigration enforcement figures. [1, 2, 3]

Deportation and Immigration Spending
    • Specific Third-Party Deals: A congressional review by Senate Democrats revealed that the administration spent at least $40 million to deport roughly 300 migrants to third-party countries (such as paying $7.5 million each to Equatorial Guinea, Rwanda, and Palau). [1, 2]
    • Projected Term Costs: Estimates indicate that overall enforcement and deportations during Trump's term are slated to reach $268.9 billion. [1]
    • Military Divergent Funds: Reports also highlight that the administration siphoned or committed over $2 billion from the military budget and Pentagon accounts for border deployments and immigrant detention. [1, 2]

Global Military Budget Comparisons
    • Global Context: According to global defense tracking databases (such as SIPRI and the Lowy Institute), dozens of nations maintain defense budgets running in the tens of millions—meaning over 100 to 170 countries have total annual military budgets smaller than the $2 billion siphoned from the Pentagon or the $40 million spent on specific removal flights. [1]
    • Scale: To put the multi-billion-dollar domestic and global immigration enforcement spending in perspective, nations like Laos, Papua New Guinea, and many smaller European or African nations record total annual military expenditures well below $200 million, placing them far below the grand totals allocated for U.S. immigration enforcement. Didn't it peak at 9.1% before the IRA was passed? Or are you just talking about the 2nd round of COVID stimmies that Biden passed

I believe inflation peaked at 9.1% in June of '22, while the poorly named Inflation Reduction Act was passed in August of '22,... I'm talking about all of Biden's excessive spending.
