This game is an embarrassment. We still might come back tomorrow and win but after viewing ULL tonight I would be surprised. But to be honest, I would rather lose this regional than see OM go to Omaha by taking two from us in Oxford. I don't think I would be able to put up with all the OM mouthing off I would have to listen to.

Yeah, that's a pretty pathetic attitude right there. Would rather lose than have a chance to advance because your feelings might get hurt.

What a stupid post. This board would be better off without you.

I thought this thread was going to be:

It was better to lose big than a close game which resulted in burning Lindgren. But I was wrong and this thread is terrible. Regardless, we got beat by a damn good baseball team tonight. It happens, but were fortunate to have another opportunity tomorrow.

We are in a win or go home situation with one of the top 8 teams in the country. They are good, but we also have one of the best out pitchers in baseball remaining. Holder can also give us a few outs tomorrow. Hopefully we can make it through their lineup the first time through without much damage. Then we hand it off to our strength and hope for the best.

It's getting to the point where I can't tell if a post on here is:

1) Really what the poster feels.
2) Posted by a poster who is temporarily pissed off at an MSU performance.
3) Posted by a troll.
4) Posted by a poster who is drunk at the time.
5) An attempt at satire directed at posts in the other categories.
6) A combination of 2 or more of the above.

Sounds like a poor man's "Game of Thrones" - just keeps you guessing and coming back for more

Still plenty of room on that Ole Miss baseball bandwagon for you to jump on. How do you feel about tossing your beer into the air?

Hypocrites, every damn one of you. He posted what all of you name callers has thought about (and probably lost sleep over). Least he had the "Girados" to speak his mind.

I'll be honest. I want to win. But it's not going to break my heart if we lose and ULL goes on to the CWS. As much as I already hate those bastards, I'd still rather see them in the CWS than Mississippi. If I had had higher expectations for our team this year, I would be more disappointed with a loss tonight. But we've already achieved about what I thought we would, so a win tonight would be a bonus.

Speak for yourself defender of pussies everywhere. I would love the opportunity to go to Oxford and crush their dreams. Yeah, I've thought about the several ******** I will have to deal with if they were to beat us, but I feel certain we'll do out fair share of rubbing it in. That's the way it goes in the city of Compton.

My Apologies to the Board

Hey, I posted while pissed off and before I thought it through. I certainly want to win the ULL regional and would like nothing better than for us to go to Oxford and see that OM does not get to Omaha. But, just my opinion, sometimes when you are disappointed you have to look for "the silver lining". If we don't come back and win today at least OM won't get to Omaha at our expense.

Over / Under: 20% of our fanbase agrees with the OP

I'd say well over 50% would quickly get comfortable with the regional loss and 25% would just go ahead and prefer we lose to take the possibility of losing to OM in a SR out of the equation. The first group is just rationalizing disappointment and is pretty normal. The 2nd group is harmful to the program. Unfortunately, I think we still have a lot of those in the fanbase, but probably far less than we did 20+ years ago.
