Apparently he spoke before a TD Club today and "suggested" that Sat will be his last game as HC at LSU.Doesn't expect to be back. Could Nebraska be his route back to Big 10. Would the Huskers dump the overmatched Mike Riley after one season, especially if they don't go bowling?

Could Nebraska be his route back to the B1G? Ugh, what about Rutgers?! C'mon, can't you see good ol Les coaching on the banks? I can.

Where we get the money, I have no idea!

Three weeks ago he was the toast of Louisiana. Now he's on a rail out of town. Those boosters should be careful what they ask for. Finding someone as good or better might prove difficult.

Of the available open jobs, I would think USC and USCe would top the list of desirable jobs for him, plus he would still have LSU pay the majority of his salary.

The guy is 62 years old & is getting an 8 figure buyout. He's finished kissing the asses of entitled high school seniors.

They are allowing him to go out with some dignity here. They were going to can him because he couldn't beat Alabama the last five times. He's going to resign instead of being fired. I don't think he's done coaching. The good one's tend to coach it seems like forever and he's a good one. These SEC schools just have unrealistic expectations that's all. I really hope this comes back to bite LSU in the ***. And this is the beginning of a coaching carousel just like Auburn. They both deserve it.
