Please don't throw salt on the wound.
Life is like a box of chocolates. We would get blown out a 2nd time by OSU if we had to play them again with a dinged up TA. No thanks. Go to a decent bowl game. Win that and let the wounds fester in the off season. Then get better and kick some *** next fall. I'm disappointed in the loss to Iowa but not surprised by it. Unfortunately now that they beat Michigan and us all the Hogeyes are out in their gear again in South Dakota. Funny thing is I didn't see any Black and Gold early in the season.

Yet we play like there's nothing at stake yesterday.. Smh.. A Wisky loss would just make things worse..

Its not the loss...It's the uninspiring play that hurts me.
This. When you make as many mental mistakes as our linebackers and safeties made that shows you are not really into the game. And that is troubling.
I guess we really are no longer really "Nebraska". Out muscled and out disciplined... again.

Not to worry, Badgers asserting themselves late in the game. A Gopher win would have been adding insult to injury.

Yeah, except it wouldn't be against Ohio State.

I keep hearing that but it appeared to me that those guys were playing their *** off until late in the game. Yeah I think they finally mailed it in when Iowa got up by 25 or whatever it was, but how could you blame them. TA was missing wide open guys series after series and the offense kept putting the D back on the field. They made some big mistakes that led to TDs but our guys IMO were in fact playing hard for almost the entire game. That early mistake by Bando of over running that run play killed us. We gave Iowa mo and never really recovered. The D would hold them then TA would go deep ignoring an open short route when all we needed was a first down and the D was back on the field. Had to be frustrating.

It looked like it in the first quarter. Iowa's offense just sucks.
