I am so glad the Hawkeyes locked in KF forever.
It was "very" questionable. He definitely hit him but he was kind looking for the ball. He had no clue where the ball was though and I think he was expecting to get the flag as well.
The 2 plays down the sideline could have easily been pass interference as well as the 4th down in the endzone should have been pass interference. Damn, these refs were crazy stupid today. It was like they would just make a call and say "to hell with it, they will review it anyways". when Iowa fumbled they weren't going to give it to Minny at first either and it was a clear fumble.
I'll just assume you're being nice, otherwise I would have to think you really suck at insulting other fan bases.
Well, what else can you say to a team that is still undefeated? The best a person can do is point out where the game may have been close at one time...
My advice to jedn is to remember that his team has 2 losses already and today's game was pretty bad offensively.

I've watched a lot of football and that Iowa, Minnesota game was one of the worst I've ever seen! Not quite as bad as Pelini's team that had 10,000 turnovers against Iowa St though! That was brutal. Lol
This thread is freaking depressing. Everyone was bashing in Iowas pathetic offense and then they steamroll us. Ugh how sickening.
Just curious what these cockroaches were thinking about their team when this game was played. Coworker of mine is a BIG Iowa fan and he was sick about it at the time.

I told someone I know (Nebraska fan) via text I thought Iowa would win by 14-17 points. He thought I was crazy and he predicted Nebraska by 7. We were both way off.
You predicted this right after you played Minnesota? If true, what did you see that led you to that conclusion?
Seriously. What did you see in the Minnesota game? If you don't have an answer then stop the trolling.

I was semi-encouraged only because the Iowa defense played well against Minnesota, and the Gophers had been decent on offense. Iowa's offense still stunk, but that was the case all year. The discouraging game was Rutgers, a flat-out terrible team that Iowa beat 14-7. Obviously teams change over the course of the year. Iowa found its legs after getting housed by Penn State.
I predicted that score a few minutes before the Iowa Nebraska game kicked off. My reasoning is just that I believe Iowa is a better team with better players at most positions. Outside of WR I don`t see a position group where I consider Nebraska better than Iowa.

Gee, I wonder if your prediction had anything to do with our 'running' QB having the mobility of Abe Vigoda? It caused our coaches to make him a pocket passer, which completely changed how the game played out.
If you think a healthy Tommie Armstrong doesn't open our offense up, then you, sir, are a complete fool. We had open players all over the field, and Tommie is much more accurate on the run. Not to mention that his ability to run was eliminated. Having to keep him in the pocket had a huge impact on the game.

Thanks for answering... Before the game it was pretty clear to me we had our work cut out for us. Iowa was running to the finish line while Nebraska was limping. I knew you would be better on the line, but didn't know it would be as lopsided as it was. I would have been more confident if Armstrong was healthy, but I was worried when he was not.
Defensively we had been pretty good all season, except for the Ohio state game, so the 40 point explosion was a surprise. The 10 points for us was not a huge surprise, unfortunately.
After the game it was pretty easy to see the domination on both lines by Iowa. I expected your defense to push our Oline around, but was surprised at how much our Dline got pushed around.
Either way, what went down was a surprise to me. I knew we could lose, but didn't see the blowout coming.
No, he wasn't. Armstrong had ankle and turf toe issues the second half of the year in 2015.
