Has to be Chappy. He reopened in Long Beach though
I hadn’t heard that Chappy’s reopened, but if true that’s big. I lived down there when the original was around and it was my family’s favorite. Never really found a place we liked as much.

Chappy's new place is called Coastal Kitchen on Klondyke road in Long Beach. Not far off 90. Top notch. Mr. Greek in Biloxi is fun, cheap and really good. Super small, in a strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside. Taranto's in Woolmarket for crawfish.

Yes again on White Pillars for high end cuisine and I mean cuisine and not food. The chef has legit chops. The Chimneys never disappointed either. The Pho at Scarlet Pearl is good (man do I miss the combo fried rice at Yes Noodle). Giant poboys that are good at Adventures. Half Shell is fine. Biloxi once had my favorite pizza place from Nola to Pensacola: the Chicago tavern style pizza at Bootleggers. Years ago I did enjoy the ribeye and tamales at Doe's in Biloxi but I don't really go out for steak.

Rack House is a good spot do a steak
Drive to Kiln and go to the Jourdan River Steamer. Best restaurant here. I get the filet topped with something every time. Gumbo, oysters, key lime pie.
The Thorny Oyster in BSL is great, Sunday brunch is the best. Probably where I go the most out of everywhere.
Best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to recently opened in BSL - Anthony’s.
I like all of these. I would add Radish in Long Beach. It's often the beaten path, so usually not crowded. They do a lot of creative things, including with their mixed drinks. The menu items may seem a little strange, but try something new. Never had a bad dish their. If the beet salad is on the menu, order it.

Just looked at the crawfish house menu and at first glance it appears to be way overpriced and that’s even with the cash discount. Their fried fish platter has a fish name I’ve never even heard of and it’s from Vietnam!
Here’s a restaurant on the MS gulf coast and they’re buying 17-ing fish from Vietnam ??
I think I’ll pass on wasting my time and money on this place.
Seems like every place I go is way over-priced.

The best food at the best price is The Chimneys in Gulfport. If you want a steak get “The Cadillac” if you want seafood get a trout plate. Crab claws half and half. You can thank me later. Oh yeah for the salad get the house sauce. Get you a Cuban daiquiri while there also

if this is the place, hole in the wall, north of Gulfport, kind out there in no man's land that only locals know about, they have the best Shrimp Po Boy in all of the 'Sip. Get a half, I'm 6 ft 2 200 LB and I can't eat a whole Shrimp Po Boy there.

@Barkman Turner Overdrive is the expert on costal dining, wait until he weighs in before picking any spots.

It’s in Woolmarket in the boonies and y’all need to quit telling people about it.** It gets more crowded every time we go and it’s one of my wife’s favorites.

When you name dropped Yes Noodle you got cred with me. It was really good.

It’s called Coastal Kitchen in Long Beach. I’ve never been but he’s one of the OG cooks down here, I’m sure it’s great. Lot of restaurant owners started and learned under Chappy.
Just returned from losing original restaurant from Katrina. Was on Kitchen Nightmares in Nashville. I hope he's tightened up.

Since it is not mentioned, look up Siren Social Club in Gulfport. Located inside boutique hotel Hotel Vela. Same owner and chef as White Pillars. Winning awards. Swanky place and unique for the coast. Check out the bar kinda hidden in the very back through the patio.

Menu is pricey.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. Someone in our group mentioned Coterie and Patio 44. Any experience good or bad with those?
I like Patio 44, but I’ve never eaten seafood there. I end up at the one in Gulfport occasionally for business lunches, but have always ordered the fried chicken breast with spicy pecan glaze, which is super good. We actually went to the one in Biloxi last Sunday for brunch and it was very good, but again no seafood to recommend for you (we all ordered breakfast).

I’ve been to patio 44 in Hattiesburg and Gulfport. Meals at both were both fine but nothing special. My impression was upscale Ruby Tuesdays. Not sure that’s a fair review but just don’t do It for me for whatever reason. I know people with a similar impression but also know people that like it, at least in the Hattiesburg area.

Can confirm the brunch there is solid. Don’t know about seafood there either. It’s been decent every time we’ve been.

Patio 44 is fine, chicken and waffles are the only thing I've ever gotten there. There has been a lot of better recommendations in this thread though.

I think for steak and seafood in the same location Anthony's in Ocean Springs is outstanding, it's not cheap but always great. On the river too.

Maison De Lu- Ocean Springs

Crawfish House - Ocean Springs

Bozoz’s – Goula

Killer Crab – Gautier

Fayard’s Gas Station (Marathon) Poboy’s - Gautier ($2 cheaper) or Ocean Springs

Half Shell- Biloxi or Gulfport

No shilt - there is a buddhist temple off of Martin Bluff Road in Gautier, MS that has the BEST damn Thai-food between Mobile and NOLA ( only on Sundays i think)!
Don’t forget New York Pizza in Pascagoula.
