Dont shoot the messenger here but just talked to a buddy and he told me that the rumor around Oxford is that Houston Nutt will sign a contract after the season to become a coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings. Has anyone heard this?

Brad Childress probably won't be in MN at seasons end. I doubt that happens without a new coach choosing to add him to the staff.</p>

The Vikings will have a HC vacancy at year's end or sooner but.....I doubt if he could get an NFL gig. I feel the Vikes will go hard after Gruden or Cower.

Cower's wife passed last summer and I've heard he'd like to get a job in the NFL again. As a Vike fan, I'd be happy w/either.</p>

I would not be surprised by HDN taking something at UMINN. He's lived off Ed O's recruits one year too long</p>
