Why is the egg bowl a "toss up" right now? Because they run a fast paced offense? Because they can move the ball on offense using bubble screens, draws & run a couple of zone reads? Guess what none of you people are seeing that is STILL a fatal flaw from the last 2 yrs? They can NOT stop runs between the tackle! Look at the rushing yds they've given up and tell me how you stop a hurry up/fast paced offense.....By keeping it on the sideline. Games in November are won and lost at the line of scrimmage. Do you people not realize they laugh at **** like this on this board? The fact that you act as though you "envy" what they are doing? Maybe it's the competitor in me but i will not allow an opponent "power" over me by pumping them up. They don't need help I assure you. You would think we are the ones who are still trying to get bowl eligibility and they are 7-2. But by all means be the butt of their ridicule.
Because its the Egg Bowl on the road. History shows that the road team loses about 50% of the time when it is a significant favorite. And almost always loses when its not a significant favorite. You people who have just been assuming we'll get a win in Oxford this year just aren't being realistic. That was going to be a tough game even back in the summer when no one was expecting them to win more than 4 games this fall. It's going to be even tougher now that they're somewhat competitive. I still think we're a slight favorite, but in that game anything can happen.
Because Chris Wilson is incompetent. Because our players have become fundamentally unsound. Because Mississippi doesn't wait until halftime to start playing. Because Mississippi plays with passion.
Those things balance out our superior athletes.
I am pretty sure fake snow and glorifying a 17ing Indepdendence Bowl victory is about all the ridicule ammunition anyone needs.

right now where we either right the ship or we go down in flames similar to what they did last year. What I saw in Svegas on Saturday was a team that looked defeated and clueless on how to right itself. That is very disturbing.
