If this was a series y'all were looking forward to in 2028-2029, it has now been cancelled due to scheduling issues on our end with the balance of home and away for a nine game SEC schedule.

Im Not No Way GIF

State doesn't want anything to do with Tech right now, too much money being spent out there in west Texas.
Besides, look at the bright side, at least State gets to add another SEC which is about the same.......yeah.....

I wasn't looking forward to a Lubbock trip. I was however looking forward to taking a leisurely trip to Pullman, WA that got Pulled.

We ought to keep the money in state and rotate AlcornSt, JacksonSt., and MVSU for the 2 OOC games that aren't P4. And see if Delta St. would like to play us in the spring game as an exhibition game.

We tried playing Valley once & they didn’t have enough scholarship players to count for bowl eligibility. So we had to cancel. We’ve played Alcorn & JSU. Mostly no problems but I think JSU b*tched about some petty thing once. And the games are even much less competitive than a regular I-AA game. I’m ok with playing either Alcorn or JSU maybe once every 5 years. But not more often.
